  1. Dean(SOS) is a local guy here in Tampa Bay. I'm suprised to read bad things. He is a standup guy. While I know he has some health issues, I dont think that would affect this. Let me see if I can get in contact with him.
  2. Brought this '79 Standard home from Ralph's Pawn Shop Jacksonville, Fl. 12/3/82 along with a Black and White 4 Digit Vector and an Electra MPC Les Paul clone. Still have Sherry Baby and Sonny, the Electra LP clone. REALLY miss the Vector!
  3. YOU Rock! Everyone, click that!! Not bad for having never played that song together any of us. Glad we filled the bill on the Korina thing. BTW, Korina is only a name from Gibber to describe the finish of the '58 Limba Vs and Explorers as I've read on numerous occasions. I love the stuff. I like the sound inplugged, I dig the lightwieght, The flash of the flame the wood can have..... I could go on but....... That is a VERY cool shot of Kirk playing a sweet Explorer.
  4. I might regret this, but one of the guitar players on this is using my late 90's Czech made Dean Korina V with Duncan antiquities in it through some type of Mesa Rectumfrier they had at the Dean Owner's Open House Jam. Yes, I'm singing/screamimg/having a Good Time.
  5. not a FB but a color selection for the FireHamer. Mighty Hamer, late 70's Mighty Mite(Wayne Charvel) body mated with a '93 Hamer Daytona neck..... Wow just noticed. One of everything, P90 neck, Strat single coil or listick middle and Humbucker bridge.
  6. Bad News - I talked BlackFBIV into coming by telling him I would arrange a lil 4 song deal with myself , my Friend Tim, and was gonna get Shredmeister or Eric Weston in on it too but had not askked either yet, but, always a BUTT, I'm afraid I'm not gonna make this one after all. Two good reasons in my way, timing is EVERYTHING and the money is needed elsewheres at the moment. Good News - I am going to come up there July 4th weekend to see Judas Priest and Whitesnake at the Taste of Minnesota for certain. So perhaps something Sunday afternoon July 5th or so could happen as I'm sure everyone will be getting some Fireworks on Saturday the 4th.
  7. Oh YEAH!!!! Enjoy that quilty top sweetie!!!
  8. Stranglehold got played twice that night. My friend Tim and I had planned ahead to play it and decided when Elduave whipped his Ted Nugent out we still had to play it. Hadn't jam with my friend Tim in 22 years until that night. He would love to play THTH with us and was gonna attend with me. BlackFBVI should we, Tim and I, take that as a yes you will be on Bass for H/EE? I'm getting to sing Hellion?Electric Eye, Peace Sells, Hell Bent For Leather, and Gimme Three Steps this Friday at the Dean Open House jam. Should be real interesting night for sure. Looking forward to my mini vacation in about 7 weeks to good old MSP!!!! Maybe do Only You Can Rock Me instead of THTH.
  9. I would like to sing THTH again. Godzilla anyone? Stranglehold? How about Hellion/Electric Eye by Judas Priest?
  10. That shot there shows the three piece neck and I lean towards those being original tuners withthe screw holes being from some replacements put on it by a previous owner. Those look '70s Grover to me from the shots.
  11. Welcome! Nice guitar. Seen the info on the Minneapolis Jam? I'm figuring Mn means Minnesota that is.
  12. Here is the answer about carrying on and leads to some other great links. http://www.jacksonville.com/news/metro/200...skynyrds_future
  13. Just cracked a bottle of Jack and did a shot in your honor Mr. Billy Powell, now I'm gonna hit the play button and turn up Freebird real loud for ya! Fly on Freebird, Join your flock and fly high!
  14. Happy Birthday Guitarman Greg.
  15. Black Dawg is an '83 Blitz I've owned since about mid '89. Needs a few touches to be a real bad dawggie again.
  16. Thanks for the choices you've made but Ya'll aint getting NONE of my Hamers if I got anything to say about it. I've lusted after a Trans Fire Engine Red 4 Digit(I Think) Standard that was picture in the members gallery on one of the first incarnation of this place. I think the guy was from Houston and I have no idea what his name was but MAN!! That guitar was awesome. I seen it when I first looked at the place and knew I found Hamer Wonderland. Been here since. Thanks. Ham Std has #58 of the 100 Korina Standard that has a pinch to my heart. I happened to end up with Hamerica's #91/100 instead and am pleased as punch. Having played Hamerica's 2 digit Vector and Ol' #55 along with his Mandocello, I gotta say he has an enviable pack of Loverlies indeedy. Those would be my top 5 Hamer Lust err umm List.
  17. Very Fun! Enjoy....
  18. Tonepros owns and makes Klusons now. I love the Schallers like these. Not sure Schaller still makes them. I would LOVE a Standard with a set.
  19. This thread is WORTHLESS witout pron...... Nice score!
  20. This looks like Brad Whitford's guitars. I see the Mcinturff "Barn" guitar next to his '96 Korina Standard. Wonder what number of the 100 it is. I thought I read it was #10. Great shots Greg.
  21. Happy Birthday!
