Yeah, my younger brother is younger than me too. -sorry man, couldn't help it. lol

I had a couple of Uncles that were country musicians back in the 50's & 60's, they showed me the basic chords and said "practice". Had to switch to bass when I was 14 because my older brother was older than me, someone had to play bass and he was (is) a better guitar player. I use the listen and learn method.

Got my other copy a couple of days ago but haven't opened it yet.

The wife ordered one for me from amazon when they first put it up. I went to amazon a couple of days ago and the site said it ships in 2 to 3 weeks. It came in today, It's pretty cool. I'm liking it for sure. When I get done reading it and drooling over the pics I'll send it to my brother. I've got another copy coming.

Is it just me or is the face of Jesus on the right side of this inlay ?? I think that is Jol When I posted that pic I had no idea it had a face in it. After seeing it I had to find something I've been carrying for more than fifteen years. I've always been fascinated with the way wood looks (flame, grain pattern etc.) This one had something extra. As you all know all the wood has to go through an inspection at Hamer. Fingerboards were one of the most scrutinized .This one had something at the end of it, and we were all like....Holy shit, it looks like....!!! I had the cut off piece sprayed and the guitar that got that FB was put in the book. , That's cool, almost 3D looking like it comes to a peak. It's Yoda on top of the peak above the lions face at the bottom.

I noticed the headstock right away, from the looks of the chambering it also looks like a single pup.

The wife was in Louisville last week for a Pink concert. I didn't go, I'm not a Pink fan. She took one of her girlfriends with her.

This is a cool looking bass, so is the Minarik. Glad I saw the B4M first or I would have been on this one.

Same thought crossed my mind when I saw it.

I would buy peices instead of a kit. Even better go buy some boards and do it yourself.
