I am in. All I bought in 2014 was a cool amp...my Lil Dawg Ol Yeller 6g6-b Bassman clone. No guitars. 2015 will get off to a roaring start as I am expecting my Shishkov Ultimate ....,after that.....I hopefully start selling other guitars to fund another Shishkov!!!!

I love the way the blended heel feels when moving up the neck. Such pretty work....

First time I became aware of him was BITD on TV at the Grammys or some music awards show....the finale was "I Hear You Knockin'" and scores of singers and guitarists took verses and solos. Then JH blew them all away....I mean he just ripped and tore the roof off one one verse and one solo. I said " I gotta find out about this dude." It reminded me of a 70s Grammy show where Glen Campbell cut George Benson's head right off in a dueling solo showcase,....

Good point on the lighting, Chris. I have seen some alder that resembles mahogany. Alder sounds good too.

That neck on the rubber mat really looks more like Korina than hog......no reddish brown tint......

Swapper here. I changed my first pickup back in 1981 when I drpped a Lawrence L500 into my '76 Explorer. I only swap if I am not happy with the tone. Once I find what my ears like they stay forever.i love BL, Vintage Vibe, and Rumpelstiltskin VERY much. I only continue to swap pups in a guitar if I cannot get the sound my ears want. Ironically, my number one (Artist) went through a slew of bridge pups until I found a the one with magic. I do not intend on swapping out the Schlabotniks in my incoming Ultimate.....I expect perfection there!
