If you like the EV12L idea but wish it wasn’t so hifi, find an EV SRO alnico coffee can speaker. Prolly the greatest alnico ever made. 22lbs of goodness. Key to the Nugent 70s tone. Amazing speakers.

When I had my Korina Artist refretted I went with SS and just love them. Yes, a touch more zing or “ting” lol, but that is easy for me to dial out. When my Ultimate needs a refret I’ll go SS…..heck I’ll go stainless on all guitar regrets going forward. They play so easy and will outlast my sorry ass….

You can also use a simple cheap mousepad cut to fit. I like p90s close to the strings….

I cannot wait to see this flick. Heartbreaker is a major reason I picked up a guitar in the first place. Anytime I pick up a guitar, a riff from Zep 1 or 2 is bound to make an audio appearance.

My CruiseBass does it for me, but damn, that Rich is smokin’ hot!

Early on with the Who, Pete played blonde Bassman and Bandmaster heads. One of the reasons I had a blonde Bassman clone at one time. Should have kept that one.

@cmatthes my older sister Ann went to that 1982 show and I remember thinking, There won’t be a next time….but I so wanted to see Moonie…and he was gone. There were many next times but I never saw them. And thank you @Hbomfor that 1969 pic of Pete with a Strat..,I didn’t know he played a Strat back then, but Jimi really influenced those English dudes.

Closest I have ever came to seeing them was going to a theater as a kid to watch “The Kids are Alright”. I have always loved their 60s-70s stuff. Leeds has always been a fave.

The first couple pics that look more blue remind me of the back of 0006. The basics on this guitar are similar to what 0117 will be. Hopefully. I LOVE the headstock shape so much. I want to see the front of this guitar and neck. Badly!

I had a nice TRM 2x12 and still rock a ported 1x12. I finished mine in oil and put a vintage piece of grill cloth from an old organ. Pine with a Baltic baffle. I have come to prefer all Baltic cabs. The TRM freaking vibrates like mad. So much so that I put a piece o& rubber cloth on it to keep a light head from vibrating off!! I have had beers vibrate right off! That said, this beautiful pine cab sounds just wonderful.

I actually like those.

Mine too. It is the best playing guitar I have ever played and I dearly love the tone the Shlabotnik sisters bring to my ears!

0006 remains the finest guitar I’ve ever played or owned. If I ever get 0117, I’ll need nothing else.

I want a reversed headstock like that on 0117! This guitar is beautiful.
