  1. One of my favorite live guitar tones of all time! Ariel Bender (whatever his real name was) and Ian are great on this record....gotta love the Les Paul Junior tone.
  2. Minimum bid will tell the tale. Too rich for me, but I'm not in the market.
  3. Not yet......but I feel like I have.... Two of these three...
  4. P.T. Barnum.
  5. Great review. I'm curious about one other thing. Did you get to see Yes on the same night? If so, how'd they sound?

Or maybe I just can't find my sound.
  7. Black Country Communion - Self-Titled Warren Haynes - Man In Motion Eric Johnson - Up Close Jeff Beck - Emotion & Commotion Steve Lukather - All's Well That Ends Well That's pretty much it for new stuff for 2010/early 2011
  8. I think Linda Ronstadt owns that one! I'll vote for VH.
  9. Thanks for reminding me of my rapidly advancing age! My fifteen year-old son has the whole album on his iPod. Timeless!
  10. A man that learns the setlist, puts in the time and gets THAT call should be paid. I'm just sayin'.
  11. "Vitriol". Not me. I'm just funnin' around. I am, however, the guy that made the comparison to the JG headstock. The thread on TGP takes up that question front and center. That's my point. Jol's website is extremely vague, while quite price specific. We all get it in our own way.
  12. Hey Poe: I thought about posting a thread at TGP about the headstock, but I though the JG hounds might come to call. Good work! I e-mailed the new company and asked for pricing on just one guitar. Crickets............................
  13. You mean the Gustavsson headstock?
  14. Good luck!
  15. I've got a Strat style body with two hums (Dimarzio Tone Zone and Air Norton) w/ a Floyd Rose (chrome) in Powder Blue with a maple neck (black dots, thin and wide) w/ a matching headstock and repro Charvel logo. It looks like a vintage Charvel with the Strat style headstock. Finish is semi-pro. If you are up close it has orange peel, but it's really pretty good. Sounds great. Gig bag. $700 shipped.
  16. Something Anyting is a no brainer. I like Hermit of Mink Hollow best second. I also love his production and contributions to Rick Derringer's "Guitars and Women" album. Hello It's Me and I Saw the Light are two of my faves. Something Warm on the Derringer album is classic Rundgren.
  17. I'm working on it. Got a few things to sell locally before I can get it. I really can't believe it wasn't the first guitar to go. The blonde Studio is just fabulous. If it was painted flat black, it would be a great guitar. Thanks, Bubs. I get to play her with the band Thursday night. In the words of my fourteen year old son; it's BEAST!
  18. wow......I need a matching switch tip.
  19. The Studio is here. The Wolftone Dr. Vintage Double Whites are in. I'm guessing Bubs is a master of understatement. This guitar is amazing. Thank you, my friend. I'm really not sure how the Zandard is hanging around this long. If it hangs around much longer, it'll be a Floridian.
  20. The Studio lands at the beach on Friday. Now, I'm trying to find a way to get the Zandard. It's a longshot, but you never know. And I won't be making offers. The standing price is just fine.
  21. Might want to check w/ Bubs. I'm buying the guitar sans pickups.
  22. I just couldn't turn away. Too beautiful. Too nice. I can't wait! Wolftone's to enter upon arrival. Thanks, Bubs.
  23. Offered $1,100 for the Studio Blonde shipped. Never heard back. I'd like it, if you can.
  24. As I remember, this was a great album to listen to stoned. The first band I played in played The Temples of Syrinx and A Passage to Bangkok. I was 16 and I was the guitar player and singer. We played Freebird and Hey Baby by Ted Nugent too. Wierd times. A strange list to be sure.
