Creating A Hamer: a behind the scenes look
gorch replied to HSB0531's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Id'n that what 0000 steel wool is for? You can always buff it back out to shiny if you go easy with the steel wool. Not the same. Steel wool has oils in it. Plus take a nine volt battery and stick the leads into it and see what happens. Bm Dear Jackass,Do not tell people to touch 9 volt batteries to steel wool,I just burned my house down! Vzzzzzt! Is that where the flame tops come from? -

I wonder what's happening in January 2014? -
That's interesting. In series wired I ever had the impression they sound a bit muddy and loose some of the clarity they have indiviually. I might check for the heights though.

That's a great one. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I'm following Oli Brown for many years. He'd made 3 fabulous blues records so far. Ainsley Lister is a another favourite in the blues genre. The Tower Sessions album contains a great interpretation of Prince's Purple Rain. Ali Neander from German Rodgau Monotones made a very nice jazz fusion record titled by his name. Another love of mine is Tommy Merry. He's a great shredder who had performed with Steve Vai a.o. I had him discovered on the great mp3.com plattform in 2000. All three albums contain great tunes. Don't think he's performing any longer. Rob Tognoni is an Aussie living in Germany three quarter of the year, extensively touring Europe, publishing new songs once a year. He's playing quite a raw blues rock package. Then there is Daily Friday, my son's band. Their first record had been mastered by our very own Zenmindbeginner. 1k pressed and it's almost sold out. Fairly good for a bunch of 18s. 1st 2 international gigs coming in October. It's fun to see the band grow. http://www.daily-friday.de

Hamer Standards. The holy grail of a guitar! -
For sure she knows to move herself to attention. Which is part of business. She not only has a voice, she's playing guitar at the same time. What anoys me when I see the preview pics of the other videos is that she should go out and play to the public. Big click counts are one thing. Performimg before a crowd is another.
-
OK, she's singing Highway To Hell which is THE girly AC-DC song. When my son's band plays that song the girls stand up and shout. She's also a candidate for the boobies thread which is very welcome. Oh, and good looking anyway. The interpretation is great. She's singing and playing it nicely.

Damn, no book yet, although I had ordered some time in February! I've sent Schiffer an email with no response in two weeks. Sure it was paid in advance.

Let's say a friend arrives in Frankfurt with a pile of cash and falls in love with this beauty. Will she be open to move to Canada with your friend? She looks culturally compatible with us here. You just let me thinking. To me it's an Import. I could ask Ronny to create another Bo Diddley for me then.

Show yourself playing guitar without a band behind you.

Rockman forever! I love the sound. -
Great Idea coolfeel. But I think I would loose to much on it.

It needs a black transparent added to the family.

That's a whole lot of Talladegas. Are the humbucker pickups any different?
-
That's a great decision!
-
First of all, Talladegas are ireplaceable. 2nd, if you want to go Phat Cats you might better want to lookout for the classic Talladega. Either way, you are up to buy a keeper.

The Tally Pro is still on the wish list. I dearly like to try it at one time.

Have you guys seen Zen's amazing new video?

You would certainly violate forum rules if it were without a price tag. -

Zen is a master! There is no way out for him. -
Do so and report.
-
Great score! I ever wanted to try one, but thought they were pricey.

They sure want real guitarists. -
Wow, fretless! Quite rare.
