  1. It's great to be narcisstic but be nice. Fantastic job Feynman! Disturber, it now must appear on the next EU meeting. We missed out on a MIII anyway.
  2. That's because the parents take the fun out of it before 10.
  3. Like night follows day, narcissists inevitably reveal themselves. I think that was semi-sarcastic. Doesn't matter. Read the threads on the other forums. There's a pattern consistent with what we've seen here--an unusual request with an arcane and illogical set of requirements, followed by opacity, condescension, unreasonable expectations from a fan forum followed by browbeating and insults, followed by avoidance by forum members and a permanent ban. It appears to me the whole thingy is a psychology PhD student study that eventually will end up being published as THE BOOK of "Guitar Forum Mankind - Who Looks As Good As I Do Thinks As Well As I Do! "
  4. Can't resist to reply on this one. Standards rule! The color is awsome. You guys have a great job in that you create other people's dreams.
  5. Great thread to waste time on a Sunday evening.
  6. Careful where you stick that trem bar, Leroy! He'd better do finger picking.
  7. I think they are both great guitars.
  8. That's been a great thread. Can't believe it's already two years old.
  9. Pics and wirings are variable the guitar is a stable. So when the wood smokes for you, the rest should be easy to set up for your taste.
  10. I have the same kind of wife. A chain saw at Christmas spoils her more than flowers.
  11. Working man guitar. Buy a used Mexican strat. All replacable parts, easy to get. Not what I need though.
  12. This was a great story. I still have it in my mind.
  13. However, tell me how do you come to find those great guitars ever again? Korina is lighter than mahogany. So tell us what it's worth weighting and someone can measure agains a mahogany Standard.
  14. This is a Feynman seems out of business bump for a great guitar.
  15. New discovery to me: Blackberry Smoke - Great straight southern rock. Spinning The Whippoorwill right now. Also Adrian Vandenberg back in business: Vandenberg's Moonkings Also nice.
  16. Bowed instruments distort by nature when bowe played. No one bothers, rather most people like it. Intentionally distorting guitar sound seems obvious to me.
  17. Extending: I had used it on travel listening through the headset and was quite impressed on the sound. Yesterday, I managed to connect it to my Hifi stereo. The impression was it is not made for this. I had already learned that the headphone output volume of the iPad is fairly low powered. The overall sound through the stereo then was thin and lifeless. I may still use it on the go. But for now, it's not my preference at home.
  18. Very well executed! That's going to be great fun being remembered in a few years.
  19. I totally missed out on the thread. Alles Gute Ana and Andrew!
  20. You might want to consider a string change beforeOh, and don't forget to bring in ben wah balls.
  21. I'm on the iRig HD into iPad with garageband for a couple of weeks. It's pretty straight forward.
  22. ... and it says it's a '69 copy...
  23. True, but he dimes all the tone pots or either dimes bass and treble and puts the mids on half. Can't remember which. There wasn't much to dial in at the time the sound came to popularity. Now he's got no chance to change it for popularity. Why should he?
