End of the year Hamer count 2025 edition

My end of year Hamer count is the same as the past several years, one Studio Custom. Nothing out or in. I’m using funds to maintain and repair what I have. Neck resets on a Taylor 12 String and Martin HD28, frets dressed on a Tele. Still need to take the Studio Custom in to have the nut and frets checked.

I did manage to bring home a new Hamer this year — a sunburst Daytona w/ a rosewood board.  Been looking for one for pretty good while.

 

So I'm up to four in my modest collection now:

3 in, one out this year.

Bought my goldtop in March with plans to replace my Special with it. I swapped the Lollars from the Special into the goldtop and sold the Special.

A couple months later I picked up a humbucker Special flame top:

And recently I picked up my favorite of the bunch, an imported Monaco Korina. I honestly can't put it down.  Absolutely incredible guitar.

You wouldn’t want it, brutha.  I mangled it by having it routed for a full sized humbucker at the bridge.  Ruined the vintage value, right there.

This is a non-factory modded one: the previous owner had the Floyd (Schaller Lockmeister) built in there, it is dive only atm...the filling of the  previous bridge posts is visible but i don`t care.

Well I was hamerless this year until yesterday.  

now I have to figure out what’s gonna leave.  I just got a krautster last month and while it’s a fantastic guitar I just don’t think I bond well with singlecut guitars.
