killerteddybear Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 This can't be real, can it?http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/msg/247730186.htmlIt does have a checkerboard logo on the headstock...
Rocktuna Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Talked to the guy on the phone seems to be on the level. Has a couple other people interested locally so I offered him extra for the hassle of shipping it. He says he has to think about it. He was running out the door to work when I called. Thanks for the heads up Larry (call my cell)
BCR Greg Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I called him as well. His cell phone keeps cutting out, so I have no idea where the deal is going. Good guy, crappy phone!

kurtsstuff Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 At least we know it will be Kurted on the board in a few weeks. LOLActually what I think will happen is this...By the time 7:00pm rolls around, The seller will realize due to the calls and offers he says he's been recieving that...he's way off base in his pricing and will either..pull the guitar from sale and hold for awhile to be sold at a later date or.....jack the price up?...He says the guitar is mine but like I said...that's likely to change throughout the day and by the way...I'm "not" getting it for $185.00...a little more and still agreat deal but.....
BCR Greg Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I offered him $300. He and I kept getting bugged off with his cell reception, so finalizing it wasn't in the cards, I guess.Cool enuff.

Shit....so thats where the $300.00 figure came from...now I feel bad. I'll back off if you want Greg?? apparently you were there before I was (yes folks..I am a gentleman...yeah right..hehe)....If you can get ahold of the guy and swing the deal by all means...go for it..Just tell him you and I know each other and well..ya know...
BCR Greg Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Take it, I don't need it.The guy's a good fella.
