kizanski Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 2003 Hamer Korina Vector – Formerly POE-owned! Excellent condition. The slightest of wear on the gold pickup covers and V tail. Upgraded with direct drop in Gotoh tuning machines and Duncan Custom and Custom/Custom pickups. (I still have the original tuners, if you want ‘em). This one breathes fire and tears the paint off the walls! The korina shows some flame, and it weighs in just over 6 pounds. $2000 with OHSC. (Yes, I know one went cheaper the other day, but don’t wait for lightening to strike again while I sell this one for what it’s actually worth). 2004 Nash Nocaster – Light aging. Lollar pickups, huge neck (med/large frets), molded Fender case (the current small type). I added a proper Fender logo. Has all of the vintage Fender vibe (at least I didn’t say “mojo”) and ALL that Tele spank. $1200. 2004 Nash Stratocaster - Heavily antiqued. Fralin “Vintage Hots” pickups, huge neck (med/large frets). As you can see in the photos, there is a proper Fender logo on this one. I don’t want to say who put it there, but it wasn’t me. I don’t have a case for this one. $1350. 2002 Gibson Les Paul 1958 Historic Reissue - Upgraded with Duncan Antiquities, NOS CTS pots and Sprague orange drop caps. The weight is average Les Paul weight (I don’t know exactly), but I approximate it at between 8 and 9 pounds. The only cosmetic issue being on the face where the binding meets the flame at the area under where your forearm would be while playing. By the looks of it, the binding may have come loose and was re-glued. Hardly an issue, but I took it into account, considering it and the electronics/pickup upgrades when pricing it. OHSC, case candy (warrantee card, cloth-covered guitar cord, etc). $2400. 1978 Hamer Sunburst – Serial number 8 0475 which puts it around mid ’78. It’s pretty dinged up on the body and the back of the neck, however the face is very good. The factory log has this sunburst finish listed as “experimental” because they tried something new, according to Serial Steve. The edges are dark, but they used more red than you will usually see. I love it, but haven’t seen another like it, so I guess they didn’t like it as much as I do. Larger neck than most I have played. It is ALL original: bullseye Grovers, OHSC, DiMarzios, etc. 100% unfucked with. Recent setup, level/crown/polish. $1400. Caveats and terms: Another HFC-er has dibbs on the '78 Sunburst, but should he pass, away it goes. All prices do not include shipping. PayPal is accepted, but I'd have to ask for an additional 3%. Why not just send me a personal check (I accept those from HFC-ers!)? I welcome tire kickers and trade offers, just try to keep in mind my prices are firm.
DavidE Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Let us know when you're gonna sell off the good stuff. This import $350 crap just doesn't cut it.Call my wife and tell her we don't need $6k worth of carpet in our new (20 year old) house.
eightyfour Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I'm working on unloading an R9. If you still have the tele and or the strat at that time I'll take 'em.

BCR Greg Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Kiz knows good guitars, all of his pieces are as they say they are. That Sunburst KILLS in the sunlight. He's an a&&hole, but his guitars are cool!
MCChris Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 He's an a&&hole Big time. I mean, only a meglomaniac would do something like this with HIMSELF as the subject:

edgar_allan_poe Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 That Vector is bad ass. That was the one I had at HFC...its the lightest Vector I have ever felt and the flame on the upper horn is really cool.
cmatthes Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 I'm still in shock that Poe let that one go. That was one of two guitars that knocked me out a few HFC Jams ago.
teleman Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 I saw this post too late. I would have jumped on that Nash Nocaster.
David B Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v153/serial/009_16A.jpg) Looks familiar serial
kizanski Posted June 6, 2005 Author Posted June 6, 2005 Ok back to business, lest MC Chris put the Playboy design crew to work on me again....The '78 Sunburst is SOLD.I'll kick myself, but it stays with an HFC-er who will use it on a regular basis, and that's a good thing. The Nash Strat and the Korina Vector are still available, but I'm having second thoughts about selling the R8 (of course the right deal would change my mind again just as quickly).Operators are standing by...

MCChris Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 hahahaaaa!! i'm sending you some visine, brosephsky. Send some SlimFast while you're at it.That is without question the worst picture ever taken of anyone. Then again, few people would have looked their best only 60 minutes or so after emerging from a 14-hour road trip with SirDan and BadgerDave during which I smoked a bowl every 20-30 miles. Obviously, I'm WAY too old to be doing that LOL!Had I remembered that SirDan had taken that photo, I'd have flung his monkey ass through my picture window during MWJV.
