guitarzandstuff Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 HELL YEAH!!!As you know, I have been undergoing tests over the last three weeks (x-ray, CaT scan, PET scan) because these test showed a nodule in my lung that, according to the PET scan was 90% positive for lung cancer. Yesterday, I went into the hospital where they put me back in a CaT scanner and put a needle through my back and into my lung to get tissue samples of the nodule that was scaring the shit out of everyone. I wasn't supposed to have any test results until tomorrow afternoon or Monday, but my doctor called this morning to tell me that I DO NOT have cancerl!!! Holy crap, what a relief. Unbelievable! I'm in the top 10%! LOL... It's one of two things, neither of which is life threatening and I probably won't even need surgery to take it out. So, this weekend we're going to celebrate like it's 1999.... or 2009!!!I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who prayed for me and sent good vibes my way. I'm sure you've learned a bit about life's priorities in these last weeks. most of the rest of us sleep walk through most of our lives. the lucky ones get a wake up call earlier than not. take care.
