JohnnyThunders Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Thought I'd put this up for sale again and see if anyone is interested before I do the Evilbay route. When I bought this the finish was pretty messed up and the binding was coming off and missing in spots. Played great and the guy said it was plecked. I had it re-finshed in white with a black binding installed, black tuners and black Manlius pickups that are a PAF style pickup from what I was told. Comes with a beat-up hamer case. I can't play much anymore and have too many guitars so this one needs to go. SOLD

stevemec Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Johnny, you mention that you 'Can't' play much, anymore. May I be so bold as to ask why?
JohnnyThunders Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 Right after the jam in MLPs life gave me a kick in the nuts. I've learned there are more important things in life than playing guitar. Although I really enjoy it other things have priority: 1) Spending more time taking care of my mother who is going blind - macular degeneration she isa 822) Spending time visiting my mother-in-law who had a stroke and is in a nursing home she is 813) Lot's of medical issues, advancing arthritis in all my joints making it difficult to play although new meds seem to have improved it, Vertigo and balances issues that come and go in combination with my tinnitus so I can't play the way I like thru my Matamp. And lot's of other medical issues that are cropping up. They thought I had breast cancer but so far I'm just growing breasts like that guy in fight club, even though I never did steroids! I get checked ever 3 months, let me tell you mamogram really hurts. 4) Spending more time with my wife who also has a number of medical issues like Lupus and Fibromialgia and is having a tough time with her mother's stroke, work and her own health. 5) Work is very busy so combine that with the first 5 and it doesn't leave much time. I haven't even been on here much anymore. But can't complain I'm doing what I need to be doing for what's most mportant in my life. Family. Johnny, you mention that you 'Can't' play much, anymore. May I be so bold as to ask why?
