BubbaVO Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I might just bid on it just to get an instrument to learn to play.
veatch Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I bid $350, but was outbid.Oh, wait, that was $3.50...
RoyB Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I may try to pick it up because it could lead to a cool project if it goes cheap.
Rhys Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Looks like the owner bought a Blitz bass but really wanted a Scarab.
geoff_hartwell Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I don't know fellas, it "may have been altered"... GH
crunchee Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 From what i've seen, when somebody does this, they don't just do it a little, they do it a LOT! Seems like that there was a chopped down Blitz (I think) six-string guitar mentioned here that was on eBay a few months ago--I remember it had a 'custom' purple sparkle paint job (signed by the artist and dated '92, I think), and I also believe it was a sustain block model. I also believe that one of us HFCers got it for the usual tree fitty or thereabouts. Did anybody archive any photos of it from eBay? I can't seem to find the post, besides, the auction has probably expired past 90 days and gone into the ether.
LefThanDed Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Yet another band-saw victim (At least it's not too 'Savage'): Vintage ? Hamer Usa Bass guitar 514474 No Reserve http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Disturber Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Makes me think of this monster. It has been for sale for like ten gears or so, in Germany. Dumb fools.
