Yes, I have been mulling Newport/Monaco-ish Shishkov fantasy build options for awhile now, but that's well into the future. I want a Newport 90 now.

What if I say 'please?'

One sold within 10 minutes from my work this spring.

Still kicking myself for missing it.

Music Gallery?

Mine was on a stage in Holland, Luxembourg and Belgium a couple of weeks ago with my friend Guy Forsyth.

Every example I've seen of those have been super nice looking. I dont normally care for white/cream guitars, but boomerang junkie, that one is a beauty.

Good luck to all on the hunt.

Thank you, I was very fortunate to have been able to snag it.

Sorry for the crappy color-adjusted photo, I am not a very good photographer.

The color on the front is actually a mint green (Gretsch color), fairly close to seafoam. I couldn't get the color to come out correctly inside the house.

It lives up to its "Newport" pedigree in every way.

Good luck to all with their hunt - this one will be staying here. ;)

There was one at Music Gallery a month ago or so and I missed it...George said it came and went very fast. I'm in there all the time but never saw it....if I had....oh well.

I can't tell you anything about where the rest of the Newport 90's are . . . .

but I can sure tell you were the LAST one Hamer crafted is located. B)

I had the opportunity to get her but I wussed out. Glad to see she is in the HFC fold.

Yep.

I lucked out and saw that one at most ten minutes after they posted it on eBay.

That explains why I liked it. Not actually white.

I love that Gretschy mint green. Makes it even sexier.

Michael,

Not mine - I still have MY Newport and know you've called "dibs".

I'll send you some sauce anyway, cause that's how we do it here in the BBQ Capital of the WORLD! :)

You're in North Carolina?

Sauce and BBQ Capital of the World shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

Okay, well move along then. My mistake. Rick Scott is passing out hits of Black Acid around the Lakeland Civic Center. Can't say if this was posted before or after.

Nah, there's no doubt some great BBQ there too, but we're right here in River City . . . . . . and been at it for over a hundred years.

We are the home of the Kansas City BBQ Society (Competitive BBQ's largest sanctioning body) and with well over 100 (open and operational) BBQ restaurants in the KC Metro area alone and of course - The American Royal BBQ contest (75,000+ people, 550+ teams and thousands of pounds of meat smoked), ~ universally recognized as, "The World Series of BBQ" as well as the Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle - which determines the BBQ Champion for the entire state of Kansas.

With over a century of incredible BBQ in this town - our rich history of extensive, strong local competition, credentials and of course our BBQ speak for themselves (sauces too). ;)
