My sincere condolences for your loss.

I'm gonna be the glass is half full guy and note that we all have to die some day...

Ronni got to go out playing rock and roll with friends and eased into her gentle night with a peaceful slumber, awakening from the long dream into her new blissful existence. We can't all be that lucky...

Bon Voyage Ronni, she was quite the shining star and an amazing musician. RIP

Great points.

RIP Ronni, and my condolences to all those so deeply affected by her absence.

MC2:

I heard the shocking news from Grace on Facebook.

I don't remember meeting Ronni, but always knew about her from talking with Grace at the family get-togethers.

I'm going to the wake tomorrow night to pay my respects and show support for family.

I'm truly saddened for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. Actually, that was a nice way to go.

Bad news indeed but it sounds like you have buckets of great memories. 3 buckets.

When it feels like the right time throw the first bucket on the coals of regret.

When it feels like the right time throw the second bucket on the flames that illuminate time's grand lie.

When it feels right throw the third bucket of water in the air and then dance under the slow-motion shower with your friend.

Stuff comes around, you'll see. You'll dance again.

We buried her yesterday....tough day. I found it ironic that, after how hard she tried to get away from the two bedroom house she grew up in with seven kids, her mom and dad and gram all crammed in there....that she was buried just down the street from it. Despite all the traveling across the U.S. and Europe, she ended up back in the same spot. The flower shop I bought my arrangement at was four doors from that house. She hadn't even lived in that town for 30+ years.

Strage how life works out. I hope she's at peace, She actually got buried with a can of FingerEase and her jazz pick in her hand....two things she never played without.

We buried a great friend of mine on Tuesday as well, one of the best guys in the world, and he was only 58. Another buddy of ours delivered the eulogy, and after an amazing 15 minutes, he closed with a line he attributed to Dr. Seuss.

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened".

It got me a little happier than I've been since he died last Thursday, and it may be the best thing that I can leave you with.

My sincerest condolences... I met Ronnie in the mid 80's when we used to play the same bill in Long Island clubs (Sundance, etc.)..real nice girl who would always take the time to let us know how our set was (brutally honest, but sincere :) ) and what we could do to improve our sound, stage presence, etc... Haven't seen her in over 20 years...she was one of the good ones and will be dearly missed...
