The yellow button on the right will put it in your cart. What else do you need to know? ;)

+1. If you have to ask,... ;)

The $=Y rate SUCKS, and has for years. If you can possibly find it here in the US, buy it here in the US. Ask any one of our overseas members about price differences in their countries with US-made gear, compared to over here in the US, new OR used!

I'm in Canada and as we have free trade with the US, I generally get stuff for US prices. The other countries though get ripped off when they buy the guitars from the US so they generally want quite a bit more money when they sell their US guitars. On top of that there may be duties or taxes when you bring it back to the US.

Because of this I try to avoid buying US guitars from other countries unless it happens to be extremely rare or not available elsewhere. I have bought Japanese made Fenders and Orville By Gibsons from there but I ask them to declare a much lower value than what I paid so it can only be insured for that amount. If it gets damaged or lost, I'm screwed though.

From France, I only can agree and this is one of the main reason, whatever the exchange rate is, for us to buy direct from the US.

If you have 20 % VAT plus Transportation plus importer margin plus distribution margin...

Better to buy at least direct from the US...the more direct at least as possible.

Good luck, the model is great...

That site has some pretty awesome V's including a re-issue of the one that I want so bad.

http://www.j-guitar.com/product_id171856.html

I didn't even know this one had been re-issued and can't find any real info from Gibson about it, I wonder if it was purely for export to Japan ?

But why the fuck did they make a re-issue and then put the wrong tuners on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHGHG.......

It can't be mahogany because Jol, Frank & Frank told me that they wouldn't paint a mahogany Vector black.

It must be pine or maple or granite.

There is a black mahogany vector that was on craiglist for a while recently. It said mahogany right on the coa. I have its white twin. I would have bought that one as well if the finances were better.

sorry I didn't save the pic of the COA but I know it was mahogany because I had numerous conversations with the original owner and he said thats how he ordered both of them (and it was written on the COA).

And now you're gonna tell me we can't have a white standard!

Maybe someone should start a sig like murkats feynman quotes with all the orders Jol said no to and later built for someone else.
