Drendino Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I live an hour away and could engage enabler mode if services are requested. Plus, I am kind of interested in seeing this headstock! Just saying.
RobB Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I live 20 mins away from you. If I hadn't just purchased a bitchen ESP Explorer this debate wouldn't be happening. Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for the HFC (sic)...Buying this guitar is that service RobB. Do it for the children.Would that I could, patron. If it's any consolation, I did once own #13 korina Standard (see my Avatar)!

ptm1diver Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 DrendinoI thank you for the offer. If we are ever in the same location it would be my pleasure to buy the first round or two. That being said, I have zero interest in purchasing this guitar from this seller at this time. If I'm in a position to purchase a similar guitar in the future, hopefully there will be one available. Take care

ptdesign Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Hi folks, forum newbie here. But I can give you a personal testimony on this guitar as I've played it quite a few times over the years as I've played in bands with the owner.in my 35 years of playing, I have never played a better instrument by any manufacturer. It's the most balanced electric I've ever heard and the antiquities put it over the top. I'm not a full size humbucker guy and it just might be the guitar, but they're the tastiest humbuckers I've played bar none.

They have awesome neck carves too.
Jakeboy Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I love Korina Hamers and have 2....an Artist and a Junior. This standard makes me want to liquidate guitars and buy it. I am serious. My checkerboard Special and my Korina Junior are VERY nervous right now and I dearly love both of those guitars. But day-um......
ptm1diver Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Jakeboy,I agree on the Korina, I have a Korina Artist and Custom Korina SG from FBB bassworks. I planned to purchase this guitar, except the seller did not return my phone call after providing his number and he did not want to photograph the front of the headstock, If he needs a picture, I'm sure we can find some online to send him. So I moved onto the 2nd guitar on my hit list and i'm supposed to meet him this coming Sunday.
cmatthes Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 That would definitely scratch that old Explorer itch, Mark!
ptm1diver Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Troy did, of the Troy Built Chipper Shredder Company.
Jakeboy Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Did it sell? If not, I will try to sell my mint rick 360 with extras to raise the scratch....
