mudshark Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 "There's something about the camaraderie of engineers that's very similar to musicians, especially guitar players. Guitar players are like a clan. We love each other no matter how we play the guitar. There's just some unspoken thing, which all guitar players have in common. We'll hang out together even when we're not playing, and we have a feeling for each other, like a brotherhood. I don't think one saxophone player ever talks to another sax player away from the gig, but guitar players are a very close bunch, and I found it to be the same with engineers. So in the garage, we had musicians creating, we had engineers creating, and everything married because we were all in it together. And you couldn't have planned it because trying to plan it would've killed the creative chemistry. It was a very special thing that happened there, because it had to happen. ~ Les Paul, except from LES PAUL: IN HIS OWN WORDS 4 Quote

JGale Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I am reminded of the old chestnut, "How many Guitarists does it take to change a lightbulb?" 2 Quote

bry4321 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I just learned from recent @jgale videos that I prefer videos of guy playing guitar to videos of guy playing guitar and making stupid "look at me" faces. Quote
django49 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Reminds me of the friend who "accidentally" fired his hand gun into his closet and "killed" 3 Armani suits. 1 2 Quote
