Tally Pro w/ Dot Inlays

I may have found someone interested in selling me his Tally Pro. I was surprised to see that it had dot inlays, instead of Victory inlays. Does that suggest that it may be spec'd differently in other ways, too?

Possibly - if he has it, a COA might tell you any custom features. He, or anyone who owned it before him, may have modded it some as well.

Any pics you care to share? ;)

Nothing is impossible. I would look for good pictures and, preferably, the COA outlining all the particulars.....I assume there would be one based upon when they were built.

My first suspicion would be someone modified a different model. But say that not having seen a picture.

A reputable seller is a plus. It is not unheard of to post a picture of a different guitar. Naturally IF you can see it in person, that is good.

Someone would only do that with a guitar that would worth something, which Hamers aren't in the scheme of things :loL;

It's probably just a Tally Pro that was ordered with dots. Remember, everything was a custom order for a long while before Hamer closed, so if you were going to place an order, you might as well get exactly what you wanted since you were going to have to wait anyway. And in that sense, anything that is a fairly recent Hamer could have various modifications from a "stock order" to it.

I thought I read that the very first pros did not have victory inlays.

If you decide not to grab this one, pass along the 411 please.

No new pics. The pick-up mounting rings are a very light cream color. Not sure if they were originally that color, if they're an aged white or whether they're after-market.

those are stock rings.

flash and lighting are messing with your head, view of.

Sound check usually don't mess with the gear (mod), just service, and maintain.
