Todd Youth Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Hi everyone,just got my first Hamer last night,I got a Korina Jr. and man is it beautifull.I've owned a bunch of juniors through the years 58,59,62 and a historic reissue,and this baby smokes them all.I can't believe i've slept on hamer's for so long,i can't get over how smoking this guitar is,next on the list-a korina vector!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the cool purchase of your Korina Jr. Once you get one Hamer USA guitar, you'll want some other different Hamer guitars as well. I'm already up to 3 Hamers myself. : ) The original Hamer guitars such as the Sunbursts and the Studios take their design from the Gibson Les Paul Jr. Enjoy playing your Korina Jr. guitar!! DaveH Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Welcome Todd.The korina Juniors are GREAT little axes....I have an 04 myself. As for Hamer in general, I did the same thing you did. And shortly after aquiring my first one, I discovered how addictive they really are....within one year, I had accumulated five of them! I truly believe that there is no other match for them when considering the quality, playability, consistency, and tone for the money involved.

I don't have a Korina Junior yet, (but I do have a mixed bag of Specials) but I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hold out. It's definitely in the future somewhere. Enjoy it, it's only your first.

kurtsstuff Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Welcome to the HFC...however....Hamer guitars really,really suck bad...Yeah there cool at first but in time you'll grow to hate them...What people on this board normally do is sell them to me for $350.00 so that I can destroy them in the prescribed manner in which congress has dictated. I am a licensed disposal site for hamer guitars, the license being granted after 4 months of training and education in dealing with the "toxic fumes" that eminate from the kiln in which the hamer guitars are creamated and are no longer a blight on society so...When you realize that the guitar you hold in your hands is a real threat to the well being of your family and home, contact me at: kurtsstuff@imfullashit.com. and welcome again!!!
