When can I order a Flying V?

What Devnor needs is a polka dot, black and green Vector.  And, as it happens, it's going for less than 3,000 bucks.

I'm afraid polka dots are going to clash with my dad jeans.  What is up with that color scheme anyway?

It was my variation on the previous design/motif. A dose of 80's neon green to give it a little of that Steve Vai meets Michael Schenker, meets Buddy Guy meets Randy Rhoads vibe.

Well, you'd have to ask Mike via email if he'd be willing to make one, but even if he would, it would cost considerably more than $1,700!

Flying V style guitars can be pricey.  Mine was a good bit north of 3K.  I'm certain Mike could build you a killer one, but I'm guessing it would be a total custom job with a price that reflects that.

I'm betting Mike had a hand in this lil '04 Vector.

Hope you get one made soon enough too.

Wow that is a nice IA V and Korina Vector. I'll talk to Mike.  Money really is no object but leadtime is a concern.  Thanks all!

You can have one after I get my short scale Ultimate Bass that I requested when he first opened his site.:)

I'm in line for one of those myself - when/if he decides to make basses!!   ;)

Basses are waaaaay easier. Menards/Lowes/Home Depot all sell screws and 2x4s. What more do you need?!? Couple days - done!

Hey,

What you girls complaining about.   Mine, 0047 is a short scale bass like my Alembic Stanley Clark.  That is why I'm last in line for my Ultimate.

Except it's not.   ;)

Nah.  Because that just makes a hassle for Mike and Trish fending off all the angry and frustrating emails from people who think somebody is getting something they can't get.

Not worth the chuckle.

You could always track down an old Stanley Clark limited edition short scale. This is the only one that I know of that is fretless.

Chris,

No problem.  I have an Alembic Stanley Clark Deluxe 30.5" scale bass.  They are like playing guitar, only a 4 stringer.

Mike and company have been very good to me and I certainly do not want to cause them any grief.  My Ultimate 0047 should be very nice when its done.

I'm sure when he does basses, they will be incredible.

I'm telling ya, for less than 3 G's you could have a badass Hamer Custom Vector WITH a new paint job. Yessirree, Stike could give it something to match your dad-jeans.

Well, we are playing a tune that has a polka like section otherwise it's heavy metal \m/.  Can you send me a link to the FS listing?  Its been a while since I've seen it.

I'm not even sure I can receive PMs here. Interesting.  2 springs for your floyd. Welcome to flutterville! Thank you.
