Both pedals I own were based on their Tone Master, which has an OC44K PNP germanium transistor. They were however modified to my specs —biased to a slightly higher frequency and with a bit of a extra gain. They work specially well with my Pignose Piggy-in-a-box preamp, as well as with the Tech21 Liverpool preamp (a Vox AC30 emulator). Though both pedals are supposedly the same, I ordered my second one almost two years after the first one. The newer one sounds a bit darker. By the way, BSP is being out of business for a while already. Here’s a picture of how they look —I chose the plastic casing for both, which is sturdy enough:
rugby1970 Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 My tastes are a bit more pedestrian and subtle. If the amp doesn't have a good reverb then it's my Guyatone MR-2 reverb pedal and my Keeley modded Boss Blues Driver.
cmatthes Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 If just one, it would be this because I can always find something fun in there:
hanspanzer Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Well, I need a Paul Cochrane Timmy. If I can add one pedal, it has to be the Lovepedal Kanji Eternity The third would be the Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master. I could do a lot with these three.

Oh, I have a Kanji and it is indeed an awesome OD.
Dana_V Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 For me? Fulltone Full-Drive 2 (preferably the one I got in 1999 with the push-pull comp-cut switch) MXR Dyna Comp And if I could only have one, I'd go with the Full-Drive 2.
Dave Scepter Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 A extremely inexpensive pedal that I'm very fond of is the Dan Electro Fish & Chips EQ pedal with sliders and line level... it's obviously not in the same league as say the Empress ParaEq, but does good job nonetheless~ especially for the coin 😉
EricS Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 I could be happy enough with my SS/BS Mini and IE Xerograph Deluxe. And my Wally+ to keep limber. Should point out that I’m really a bass player.
BadgerDave Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 A good two stage OD + Distortion pedal and a Chorus are essentials for me. My favorites are the Menatone Fish Factory and an old Ibanez stereo Chorus.
Ua D Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 1. Xotic EP booster. One knob goodness. 2. tc electronics flashback. Delay and a looper. Then I can play with someone else while deserted or have some sweet delay. I only run 2 other pedals anyways and one is a tuner. So I don’t need much.
