That Standard was there for at least two months. I have been eye balling it. But I found a Korina Vector, so I did not pull the trigger. It was close though. Love it. Congrats to whoever bought it! Play it LOUD.

I’ve seen the other guitarist in black n blue playing this one    I think it’s in this video. They barely show the other guitarist here.   (Hair not good enough lol).   seemed like they had some money behind them.  Bruce Fairbairn, Dieter Dierks produced their first two albums and their videos looked big budget.   But they missed.

Because to me, nibs are life.

If a guitar tech can't do a refret with nibs, I wouldn't trust the refret....

Gene Simmons. Keel was a better ROI than B’nB.

After Ratt got signed, there were tons of bands like them in LA at the time: Keel, B’nB, Rough Cutt, et al. Though I didn’t like that kind of metal, I thought Black’nBlue was the best of the lot. They seemed the least, “poseur”, in a genre that demanded it.

Valid point, but I always request that the frets go over the binding.

Nibs are stupid.

Frets are like brake rotors and drums.  They wear out.  Binding nibs will get shorter as frets are leveled, too, so they are going to go away one day.

Also they serve no purpose, except for your plain E string to get caught up when you vibrato.

I remember Jol explaining at an Open House how their fret dress process is so excellent that this would not happen.
Obviously we all agree about Hamer's fit & finish, their fret feel, etc., but this is complete nonsense.

This is why I love to have the frets over the binding.  No hang up and you get that extra width with which to work.
I get it if you like that vintage look, but that means nothing to me.

For me, this is the only way.

No argument here...   lol   I was once admonished for having a 72 LP Deluxe refretted without nibs.

Only point - dude likey the nibs. A refret should not be a deterrent to good nibs...

Good opportunity for more Shishkov pron.... : )  (crappy phone pic...)

Hey - idea for next custom order: nibs only on the top...
