  2. I have a 59 replica. It's way more accurate to the real thing than a re-built R8. Better wood too. It delivers the goods, it's a keeper.
  3. Interesting. I wonder if it seriously got better, more sustain etc, after that process or if it's just placebo. The top looked better after for sure. Not a fan of the relic thing.
  4. You are one hell of a shredder! edit: this is more my style.
  5. Congrats on returning it to it's former, original, beauty! Now, all it needs is a Floyd.
  6. It never bothered me though. It is the thrashy side of his playing.
  7. That was great! I wonder how long they rehearsed that performance before the actual show. Damn. And James can sing, for real. That was some impressive vocals. I always liked Hammet. His playing is trashy. It's has a punky vibe. I like his playing even more when internet keyboard warrior guitarists hate on him. Not one of the haters would be able to manage the journey he and Metallica covered since the bands early days. Once, in the early 1990's I was invited by the record label promo guy at PolyGram to hang out with the band before and after the show, and to see the show from inside the snakepit at the middle of the stage. It was truly a mind blowing experience. I was standing a few meters from Lars and Kirk. They are not fake. Every drop of sweat they put into what they do are for real. And when the bombs went off I nearly shit my pants. Damn, it was loud.
  8. The HFC always knows. Thanks. 😄
  9. Where can I buy this pickup selector switch? Just love it. 😅 😅 ⚡ 💀

  11. Never played one, but I am sure it's great! Looks beautiful too. I have an early 80s Fender Super Champ that does the Princeton thing very well. Love it.
  12. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
  13. 666 it's the number of the Beast!
  14. Thanks. I guess if I want to see the whole thing I have to pay. I found the sound files from the show here: https://archive.org/details/thebrothers2025-04-15.vwmule/thebrothers2025-04-15.vwmule.t01.flac https://archive.org/details/thebrothers2025-04-16.vwmule.t20
