Whatchewsmokin' ... ha ha ha I think I know where you are going with this... and yes there is some nice lower mid quack to the thing... but no were near the air in the sound like a semi.... The MII is a 25.5 scale set neck solid body with dual buckers... kinda has a voice of it's own.... Nice lower mids... you knda get a Paul-ish sound with a twang from the "F" scale.... really cool guitar..

My Mirage I is much thinner than my Special FM and Artist Korina. I can only assume that the II's and Maple Tops were constructed in a similar manner to the I's.
