Sentinel replied to Dutchman's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
I see, but me, I'm hooked! ❤️ I have watched all of their videos (thats how I feel) and I am still finding stuff. REALLY great musicians - I mean, listen to the bass riffs!! Now I have ordered their second LP too. They make me happy and inspired. Listen again! 🙂 -
The 4-3-2-1 Club presents: Celebrate Seventy!

Wish I could, buddy. Happy Birthday to the Ultimate HFC Host! -
It's that time of the century, where I celebrate another decade on the planet. I'd love to see some out-of-town guests show up for this one. Fifty and Sixty were awesome parties, and Seventy will be no exception. This one takes place on a Saturday afternoon, Oct. 24, with an after party at the 4-3-2-1 Club. Anyone want to make a road trip, or fly in?

Lynyrd Skynyrd in a box? Mace preamp.
Steve Haynie replied to Saul Goodman's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
The tortured argument is brought up by Rickey Medlocke himself over and over. He recorded with Skynyrd before they had an album deal. Artimus Pyle was on the albums and played the shows. His band has Barry Lee Harwood who was hanging out with Lynyrd Skynyrd from 1968 onward, and he was the male vocalist and songwriter in the Rossington-Collins Band. Whose band is more original? -
that symbol guitar looks highly uncomfortable to play.

Thanks, since there were several, I wasn't sure which would be best for it. Appreciate it.

Lynyrd Skynyrd in a box? Mace preamp.
RobB replied to Saul Goodman's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
Oh. That’s different. One need only to view the 1977 day on the green show. Those tens of thousands of rigatoni-armed skinnies could barely lift a bong to their faces, much less an 85 pound power amp into the back of a truck -

I just meant in general in those days, not Skynyrd specific. "All right, you can play, now lift up that CS800 and put it in the back of the truck outside." 🤣 -

Lynyrd Skynyrd beat them to the punch on this one; they are already in a box, unless you want to make some tortured argument about Rickey Medlocke. -

Wish I had run into you, Steve. I would have said hello for sure. I wish I had worn an HFC t-shirt. I broke out the Drivin-N-Cryin instead. Eric Ernest of Abalone Vintage is a good guy. He graciously let me play Greeny when he was selling it on consignment..
