  1. Past hour
  2. Who's the lucky guy?
  3. I'm still remembering Chris every time I hear, "Handful of Rain," or, "Dead Winter Dead." Sad his widow died several years ago too. So many people have died connected to this group and TSO.
  4. U r right, Jon „joined“ the show via video, singing „Believe“… Impressive moment…
  5. Today
  6. Big news! Wishing you all the best!
  7. I met Duke from Metal Church about a year or two ago, he spotted my '89 Chap 5 bass and was excited to ask about it, he played Hamer quite a bit early on. I missed their music way back when, that was too bad, I think I would have been into them
  8. Dibs! If it turns out not to be a keeper for you, of course. I've never had a Diablo.
  9. Hang on to it for a while. You might be able to trade for something else down the line.
  10. Nice! Looks in great shape!
  11. That was cool. Hearing Frank drop into The Zombies' song, She's Not There, was unexpected.
  12. Jon does not tour. Zak Stevens is the singer if you see Savatage. Unfortunately, Savatage is big in Europe, but not in North America. We are not going to get any Savatage shows. Armored Saint is always a great band to see.
  13. A friend had a stereo rig. It was a fun experience standing in front of it hearing the spit.
  14. Jeez Arnie, talk about having your priorities AFU.... And Jason - Good Luck with all of it!
  15. My best shot of being there is on Sunday, the 23rd.
  16. Luther Lee. 59’ Sound (Brain Fallon from Gaslight Anthem) signature telecaster pickup set. Both pickups work fine. Comes with items shown. No screws or springs. This is the aged version set. Had this set in one of Teles for about 5-6 years. $180 shipped lower 48.

  17. congrats!! mostly on the engagement.... gear no t such a big deal! arniez
  18. If I'm completely honest I bought this from a friend in a cover band who just constantly goes through guitars all the time trying new things. I'm not really planning on keeping it although I do like that it's lightweight. Floyd Roses just aren't my cuppa tea. I believe that serial makes it a 93. It has some small dings but everything requires looking at it up close to spot.
  19. Is Jon the only original member left? I'm going to dig in the CD collection and dust them off today. Thanks for the reminder.
  20. nice watermelon red, What’s the 12 fret inlay say? I guess it says 120th anniversary.

  22. How about "Excuse me, while I kiss this guy"...
  23. Saw this package last night in Germany at the „Keep it true“ festival. Never been much in the later two and want only to see the Savas. Man, what a blast. Perfect show, perfect setlist, a great run through the bands history. I know the guys are big in the States with the TSO, and I never heard much of that stuff. But if you ever got the chance to see them - go.
  24. Ed Rechts (Jay Toland) was also in that band - there's a story about how he was unceremoniusly dismissed going around. They used to play quite often at JAXX' in Springfield, and I caught them there a number of times, mostly when Chris/Turdus was in the band. The club had framed pics of the bands/artists that played there all over the walls. The Vollmer pic was taken on the JAXX' stage during the Rechts year/months. I saw Jay in there once (maybe an Ace Frehley show?), and pointed out that somebody had broken the glass on the Vollmer pic and Sharpied him out of the pic. He thought that was funny as hell! You could barely make out the Hamer FBIV he was playing at the time. Turdus still plays with the remnants of the Vollmer band around NoVA - it's been a while since I've been over that way to see a show, but they're still a really solid hard rock cover band, and I'm long overdue for catching them.
