Hopefully it was a Boogie coliseum head. š I watched that video earlier today. I want that pedal if it ever comes out. There is a Mace at my house. It is fun to crank, but not to move. There are cars that weigh less. - Today

I played thru a Mace for a few shows. It had EV speakers in it. FOH guy threatened to pour gas on it and burn it if he saw it on the backline again. Next show I was sporting a Boogie. -

Skynyrd's crew hated that Peavey gear. The tube amps constantly blew up, totally unroadworthy. The bass gear was solid, it's said. -

FS: 2006 Fulltone Deja'Vibe 2

Sometimes, legendary assholes make legendary pedals. As much as I tried to get away from my MDV-2, it's just the shit. The closest vibe I've bought to it that suits my ear is the Lovepedal Vibronaut, and it is great for a small board. But nothing beats have a treadle on one of these things for the full effect. -

I won't tell you what I did when the web site was down. Absolutely not.

All things equal, I do love the use of a stereo tube power amp. (Still do have older Mesa versions, 2 x 50 and 2 x 90, but find few excuses for firing them all up these days). If/when you do get to wanting the really portable stereo pedalboard, there are good options. Yeah, not really tube power, but....With such great tube PREamps as you have, you might be well served with such as the Duncan Powerstage or, on a budget, the Carvin version ($159). My actual personal preference is the Thermion Zero. Longer story that.... FWIW, I had a pro guitarist over yesterday checking out gear, as he was not satisfied with his live sound. (For perspective, he is using a modeler). He tried out both the Duncan and the Carvin. He actually liked the overall sound better than the $600 Duncan and ordered one on the spot. (I'd have been happy to sell him my Duncan at a substantial discount but he did like the other better with his rig, not just for the savings. I suppose I need to get around to posting it for sale......) (I also sold him a pair of my shop built cabs, so we all ended up happy)š So many good options these days. And the Wampler Pedalhead that should be out soon looks to be better than any of them......Supposedly about the same price as the Duncan stereo version. Having the whole rig on a pedaboard, with a smallish stereo 2 x cab makes a whole lotta sense to my aging back. And, to my biased ears, sounds better than almost anything else others bring to the stage. Sounds like you are still having fun!

I had a Deja-Vibe. It is one of the pedals I would like to have again. One day. Not right now. It is a cool pedal. -
This thread isnt about what i thought it would be about.

I'm running an IR-X and a TK Imperial on a board. I plan to get a Synergy with a BE/BB module (that Buxom Betty clean on the BE-50 Deluxe is the best part of that amp, and that's saying something) and probably a Fryette Pitbull to stick in a rack with the VHT 2502. The TK-Imp and IR-X are just killer for jams, fly-dates (all one or two of those a year I do, lol), or just any situation where you need a really portable set-up. Correct!

Sometimes you need to turn away from (over) the nice tops.....š Not that they make the tops any less desirable.....
