I recall Pete Thorn has a number of videos about the H9. Recent memory had a couple of them on his board at all times. pete thorn H9 - YouTube

Heard the name. I had no idea! Discography 2 – DESMOND CHILD It just goes on and on...

Jeezus what a horrific way to go. Did he ever play drums for Spinal Tap?

That's hot!!! 😍 Love that you used the 'poker chip' toggle switch cover. Are you still building?

I wanted to bid on some of his amps, but no such luck. Too expensive. 😞

That's so wrong. good story. i didnt know larry located to montana. hard loss for me

I've made a few.

What exactly is special about those pickups compared to the ones they offer now? Or it is so that the guitar can be "all original" again even though it's not?

Critical PHP flaws: What to watch for and what to update Hello Malwarebytes Customer, Emergency security updates are now available for two critical vulnerabilities in PHP, the programming language that powers many websites and web applications. Known as PHP2Shell, these flaws could let attackers run malicious code on an affected server without logging in. They could steal business data, change website content, or use a trusted website to target visitors with phishing pages and malicious downloads. If you’re a website visitor: Some websites may temporarily go offline while they are patched. Watch for unexpected content, downloads, or redirects, and repeated login requests, even on familiar sites. If something looks wrong, leave the page. You don't need to install PHP updates on your own device. If you’re a website owner: Ask your hosting or IT provider to confirm PHP fixes are installed, not just scheduled, across all your websites and applications. If they can’t patch immediately, ask whether affected services should temporarily be taken offline. If you manage your own servers, follow PHP’s update instructions. Using unsupported PHP? Check for a vendor fix or upgrade to a supported version. Read our blog for more information about PHP2Shell and the security updates. Stay safe, The Malwarebytes Team @hikarateboy

This is pretty interesting. The Economics of Cheap Trick! This should be computer link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=yAsNBnY7-C0 This should be phone link. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yAsNBnY7-C0

Sure Reverb that would be the place to keep an eye peeled. Never hurts to ask here as this is the place for all things Hamer. Reverb IS hit or miss, I watched for a long time for a guitar I was looking for...............all stock, rare color and in excellent condition. Finally found one on Reverb/Chicago Music Exchange had it and I bought it. Good Luck!

Will Shea is a monster builder. He's ahead of schedule and I think the Summit Model is killer...

It was a robbery that went awry 🤷‍♂️

I've got just a little bit. I blame in-ears and my practice headphones, which I try to keep as quiet as possible, but is sure it fun to try to play along with something a bit loud if it sounds really good. I'm ok with some tinnitus: I don't expect to have perfect hearing on my deathbed, - use these things, and expect some reasonable wear.

my wife talks about us moving to Florida, maybe I should show her this, - or maybe I should NOT show her this, hmmm

I picked one up on Reverb and as I await a new power supply for it, I'm looking for a good foot controller option for live use. I had a Ground Control unit about 30 years ago. I've seen a variety of different foot controllers used with the H9 - Disaster Area Designs, Morningstar, Arturio. Anyone have a suggestion?

Nearly time to lace em up!

They actually pop up on Reverb and eBay from time to time. Unfortunately, I've let a few listings slip by over the years, so I finally decided it's time to get serious about finding one. Figured posting here would be a good way to cover all my bases!

We live in Palm Coast now and I saw that on the news not long after it happened. Tragic he was only a few years younger than me.............sounds like he was a nice guy and a very good guitar player.

Reminds me of my teeth. 🤣
