Saw him last Saturday for the first, and only time. Had a great trio. I really enjoyed his acoustic numbers, who knew? He ia a virtuoso player but frankly too meedly meedly to enjoy for more than a few numbers. Really glad I saw him and appreciate his talent but once was enough for me. My wife, who had no idea who he is, commented that she loved the talent level of all 3 musicans as well but....anyhow. Quick review played a taylor acoustic I think. Spent some time on an SG, Tele, and Strat of course. No 335 in sight. If you havent seen him do do and check it off your list. arniez

I bought one of these last SDOTD go around. it was a sloppy fit for my Strat. YMMV but i sent mine back arniez

Really sad to read this. As one who had the pleasure of reading his posts, they were creative, bting and hilarous. I really had no personal interaction with him except for one instance. I was trying to get a visual of my Artist Ultimate with Victory inlays. He graciously used his skills and provided the mock up. He did this voluntarily, did not feel I could knew him well enough to ask directly. I have missed him since his departure, occasonally bumped into him on the defunct Hamer Museum page. Hard to believe this Force of energy is about to expire🤨 arniez

I have owned a Superpro and MIII, both really nice guitars but ultimately not for me. When the Elite came out I was very excited to play/own one. What could be better than a Hamer LP. It wasn’t the shelf but no real improvement on playability over the LP. Immediately lost interest. OTOH A PRS McCarty 594 did resonate strongly with me. Under 8.5 “ un chambered blah blah
