  1. If I'm limited to one, it's Flynn's Newport ArnieZ
  2. Too chaotic for me, don't like it at all. Have to wonder if the wood could even vibrate straight It does look like something out of Histology lab! ArnieZ
  3. Happy Birthday, have a great day guys!!! ArnieZ

  7. Happy Birthday Eric, Have a great day!! ArnieZ
  8. Craig, Serial hit it on the head. There is no "line" at Hamer devoted to the production of any single model. There are individuals who do perform the same function on most guitars. At the time my Ultimate was made there was only one luthier who did the MOP inlays. I paid extra for the Victories on my guitar because I like them, and they are uniquely Hamer. Subsequently they became stock. To insert a picture in the body of your post upload one to an image hosting site, I use photbucket. Copy the line IMG code and paste it where you want it. If you want the picture to appear in your signature, go to 'My Controls" edit signature and insert the same IMG code in that box then presto! ArnieZ
  9. There is no Artist Ultimate line! To date they have probably made less than 100 of them. Mine is #48 and it is an 2003 model. Retail price in 03 was $4500, I believe and now $8500. They still do not command an appropriate price used IMO. ArnieZ
  10. I think all ebony board upgrades aome with a 1st fret inlay
  11. Congratulations! You're gonna love that guitar!! ArnieZ
  12. I'd buy it, but I don't like the color! Ridiculously cheap, this is one that might actually be a good investment, current list is $8500 if you could get one at 50% off it would still be over 4K. Gotta be worth more in the future ArnieZ
  13. Belgian, I have the sister to your T51 in the middle. ArnieZ
  14. Hi Arnie I think that guitar on the right is the most beautifull Hamer I have ever seen. I'm not a yealous guy but in this case....... Steven Thanks Steven! I'm very fond of it myself ArnieZ
  15. Same pair different light! ArnieZ
  16. Welcome Nice diversity in your Hamers so far...but there is much yet to discover! ArnieZ
  17. Way to go! Tally's are great guitars and the Earthen Maple is very cool!! ArnieZ
  18. I belive that solid body brown sugar ultimate was Phoenix's. Beautiful guitar! ArniZ
  19. Ken, The color is brown sugar, photo in early AM sunlight. Brown sugar was a originally developed by Phoenix. I think it is honey with a dash of brown. Interesting story on the top. I had picked out a top at HFC 6, I think. I got an email from Alpep saying there was a problem with the top. After it was bookmatched, a defect was noted and they didn't want to make the guitar with it. Jol, said I could take a ride to the shop and pick again. I think it was Frank who had this billet stashed in his work area, when I saw I knew I wanted it! Here is a pic of the raw billet. And here is a pic of my honey Artist Custom and Ultimate ine the same light ArnieZ
  20. I'm obviously an Ultimate fan, tho not the cognac finish. Worth every penny of the asking price. A more unique sounding guitar than you might think. The pickups and wiring in these really separates them from an Artist Custom. ArnieZ
  21. Welcome! Mostly everyone here started with just 1 Hamer ArnieZ
  22. I think the ebony headstock overlay is standard on all bound and victoried guitars, I don't know about the models without the "custom" designation. ArnieZ
  23. Happy Birthday Have a great day! ArnieZ
