  1. The show was great. Sold the Vector, GMP Roxie, '54 Gold Top w/ 3-P90's and the 1991 PRS Custom. But one sale stood out above all others! Our very own MathMan got the deal of the show on my Trademark 60 amp. Lots in common other than just Hamer guitars. The high point of the show.
  2. I'll be there next Saturday and Sunday. DR's Guitars is the booth. Lots of cool stuff.
  3. What he said. You'll need more gain and less top end. JMHO...
  4. Mine came yesterday. I have about six Explorer shaped guitars and hate the hard cases. They don't fit well in my Lexus. This is great. Thanks for the heads up JimBilly.
  5. I've owned a bunch of Brown Fenders. The best of the lot was a 2x10 Super. I remember one Vibroverb that was supposed to be "Stevie Ray". I didn't like it nearly as much as the Super. And the Vibroverb was worth a bunch of money, due to the hype. But that was the early nineties!
  6. Is it me, or have these always been a little "weak" in the market? I remember I had a blonde one with a killer top and had to trade it to move it. But that's been ten years.
  7. Testify to the world! I want my Hamers to be worth as much as can be.
  8. Somehow, I missed this thread...Just a few this year.
  9. You never watched Jim on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom?
  10. No Mac. The "show" would be great. I'm more interested in getting the old stuff in a format I can use. I'm in Orange City, by the way. DR
  11. So, this is a little off the "beaten path". I sent Kiz a song for the last "Best Of". All my stuff is from 1985 or before. I only have the stuff on CD. Now, I don't have a CD player unless I'm in my Lexus. So, I need to know the easiest path to getting all the songs in a format that I can throw on a stick or easily post to the web. Is there a service or do any of you guys know how to do this for me? If I can get this accomplished, I can submit for this Best Of or the next one (hat tip to Mike). In the immortal words of David Lee Roth", Look I'll pay you for it"...
  12. I played one of these for about two years with a MXR Distortion+ and an Echoplex. I'm not sure why I moved on. It was just so good. We played a bunch of college festivals in Florida back in the day, and it never underwhelmed. The tone is consistent from quiet to almost as loud as it will play. I never used the "Lead" channel. Always liked it for pedals. Ernie has the coolest shit.
  13. I saw Buck Owens sing this on Hee Haw when I was a kid!
  14. I just put Carandolet Gregbuckers in my new violin guitar. It, literally, transformed the guitar. All about the midrange to my ears.
  15. At some point, "Corksniffery" enters into it. Bare Knuckle Black Dogs and Mules for me. Josh Gravelin's stuff is really good too.
  16. The Vector has sparked some interest. It's killer. I just don't play it. DR
  17. My buddy Keith Harner had this surgery and it changed his life. God bless Pete. He's such a gem.
  18. Thanks. You coming to the Orlando show in January?
