  1. As you wish (play shuffled for best results): The best time I have available for Spotify is during workouts. This gets blasted through an Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3 loudly enough to camouflage the ridiculous groans of an old man going to failure on every set.
  2. In my limited experience that's actually pretty good terms. Gruhn's, for example, used to pay 50% of their appraised value.
  3. Given your more populated location, I definitely think so. Here in the land between the two swamps? Not so much. 😉

  7. Also found this "replacement" four button for several Peavey models: Switch Doctor - Automix Four Button Replacement Footswitch for Peavey Classic, Deuce, Mace Amps | Reverb
  8. Would the four-button from a Stereo Chorus work? Peavey Stereo Chorus 212 Footswitch with 14' Cable 03078470 ETA: Peavey also has that one new on their website: Footswitches - Peavey Electronics Corporation
  9. I hadn't heard of this pedal, so I went searching for really well-written review. I found one and ran across this quote: Well, that led me on another search as I hadn't heard The Darkness that I recalled. Spotify, "Permission to Land." Hmmm. "Permission to Land." I found the guitar tones as fantastic as the singer not. To each their own... All that to say, what an incredible sounding MIAB overdrive. This demo runs through tons of settings with humbuckers and singles. I especially liked the gain at zero tones at 5:32 and some EJ-esque violin tones at around 8:30. Seems really versatile.
  10. Dude... it's Metallic Green. You know, "Super Rare."
  11. I have a '91 vintage sunburst Howard Roberts Fusion III (first year) I might part with as it just doesn't get played. It has Lollar Imperials in it (the original 490T/R set would come with it). If you're set on black, I understand. They do pop up on Reverb fairly regularly.
  12. That Gretsch did not deserve that. Reminded me of
  13. Nicely done, some more convincing than others.
  14. Shure - spendy but fairly bullet-proof performance. We run six channels at church. We're extremely rural, so we're still able to get away with the older SLX line. Encroaching consumer technology has made SLX all but useless in cities. We had one (ten years old) receiver go down last month so we opted for the newer QLXD line to hopefully futureproof the system. We plan on replacing each channel with the newer tech as they go belly-up, but four of the remaining five are more than fifteen years old. One channel, receiver / transmitter pack was just over $1,100. That's pretty pricey, but they really do last.
  15. Hamer-adjacent Ovation acoustic electric bass. I've never seen one of these so I have no idea if they're desirable for gigging, but it's a really cool looking instrument IMO. Rare 1990s Ovation Viper Bass - USA Made (Hamer Era) - Limited Production | Reverb No affiliation, of course.
  16. Seems a steal! If I had any money... 1994 Hamer USA Special Electric Guitar w/ OHSC | Reverb ETA: no affiliation, obviously.
  17. How did I not know about BBM? Amazing!
  18. I got an email this morning with that GIF and all I could think about was faking a report. I finally gave in as I was about to leave work.
  19. A recent industrial hygiene study of the Gibson plant has determined a strongly correlated root cause of nearly all QC issues. A photo montage accompanying the report provides clues: A 12,465 page report from the study concludes very succinctly, "Ladies and gentlemen, if we could put our finger on just one primary issue, that would be: it's dark. I mean, really, really dark. We've never seen a production environment with such poor lighting." The report has been published to the Board of Directors. An action committee is anticipated.
  20. Eye of Horus - if you read Jordan Peterson, he's frequently on about the Eye of Horus Fantastic and interesting report.
  21. My favorite part was Axl (rather, the absence of Axl), followed closely with what I have to assume is him pushing out a turd he's been working on for a week or so. But seriously, the harmonics in the intro were really cool. Incredible chops!
  22. 1. If she's intent on crowding that particular mic, it needs a high pass filter. A 58 would likely have worked better. 2. I liked her rendition, but I think her voice would be more suited to different material. Maybe something from the Amy Winehouse catalog - more contralto-ish. We're so used to Joplin's version it's difficult for anyone to make their mark with that particular song. [/opinion]
  23. That I have not bought it yet is absolute proof of no funds in the guitar account. Considering items to sell but limited as all the kids are out of the house...
