Years ago, I read about John Entwistle doing a bass clinic tour.  He would play to preprogrammed songs on a drum machine.  At one stop, the machine went haywire and was just spewing out random drum patterns, which he played with for a bit, then said, "Huh - kind of like playing with Keith Moon."

                      Saw them here in Minnesota at the old MET CENTER................now gone and replaced by the MALL OF AMERICA. They did most everything off WHO'S Next. They were amazing and YES Moon was alive and in fine shape that night, he was wailing on those drums. Wish I could have been here also.

Check out the "Live in Texas '75" concert DVD.  Everyone is playing/singing great, and you get to see Entwistle sing Boris the Spider. High energy show from the first song. Moon fucks with Townshend the whole show.

Didn’t seem to bother him at Woodstock.  And I’m sure there was a LOT more weed there.
