WTB: humbucker guitar in the $1K range, plus or minus

I've got a first issue Hamer Cali slammer available..Been upgraded with a Schaller trem and EMG 85 in the bridge. I left the single coil and pickup switch unattached and the humbucker is wired straight to the volume pot..Comes in a Hamer USA case

Kinda sorta- not a fan of HSH, the rosewood board nor of the blade style switch. But everything else is on point!

Just an FYI- having just sold the Virt to a gent in Winnipeg, if anyone grabs this, be prepared for import duties and taxes.

Won't argue that. The picture I bought it from made it look blue but it is a lot of greenish blue. It is an honest USA. All stock and plays like it's supposed to. Just not getting played cause I like the brown one better.

Why not?  My MIK SATF is as nice as my US made Studio. Had to replace the pickups in the SATF but otherwise they’re fantastic. Oh, you just bein snobby?

I posted about the bridge when I 1st got the guitar. Changed shortly after that. Pickup and bridge can be seen in the 2nd picture.

I think the import Hamers depend on when, where and how they were made. Some are better than others. Sounds like you got one of the better asians and a poor example of a USA.
