Oh and here's a back view, thanks to FedEx...

So it's back to the owner.

Serial, sorry to see that. It is a killer guitar.

Glad you found another one.

What is the name of this Dean model?

Are they just called Vee's?

edit: "Dean Vee"??!! And I was not even out last night.

Alzheimers, that is what it is. I mean "Dean Explorer"?

The Dean Explorer was named the "Z," the V was named the "V," and the cross between the two was the "ML."

Nothing new to post, but I'll show some old pictures.

My 95 Special FM. I had it up for sale a while ago but I just culdn't let it go. It is such a tone monster with the Custom Shop Duncan "Brobucker" bridge pickup and a 59/Distortion hybrid neck pickup. The workhorse that sounds amazing.

My 83 Vector. It's in relic condition which gives it it's own vibe, But I'm thinking of having it refinished something cool looking. Haven't decided yet.

And of course, the pride of my collection, the 78 Sunburst. I would take some fresh shots of this one. But I would never be able to match the quality of this shot. It just hits me in the nuts everythime I see it.

Does 1978 help qualify the porn as "fresh"??

The Explorer was the Z (the bound top ones were "Standards", the unbound ones w/o flame tops were "Flame Series");

The V was called the V, the hybrid Explorer/V was the ML.

It's a cycle, you know... Sell and buy and sell and buy and....

:o

And then there are some things to which you cannot just say "no".

That kinda burst spelled a knee-jerk I-must-have reaction.

Hence the e-mail I sent you, btw...

I demand that you show me more pictures! Also, what pickups do you have in there?

-Austin

I need to take more pictures of this one. It's got a Dimarzio Evolution in the bridge and the stock SD 59 in the neck. Really a great guitar!
