BCR JUNIOR - For Sale

Here we have one of the famous BCR Junior for sale.

This is your chance to get one of these great guitars. According to BCR Greg when asked on this board about the BCR Juniors he said… “there are 6 TV Yellow BCR Juniors, 6 Cherry BCR Juniors and 4 Orange BCR Juniors. ….they have …”vintage style tuners, thinner headstock and a few other little quirks.” This one is from the second 6 of these made. The first six were TV Yellow and the second six were Cherry they were made a few months apart.

I added a Lollar P-90 but still have the original Rio P90 pickup that we be included in the sale.

This guitar has been played but it is in good condition. I took a bunch of pictures and would be happy to take more if you need/want them. Check out the pictures for the condition of the guitar. The pictures are accurate. There are a couple of pen size dings on the back that show in the picture and a little ding on the back of the headstock, also shown in the picture.

I was told the bridge that came on the guitar new was a 58 Gibson tail piece but I don’t know for sure. It is certainly aged and looks like it.

It will also be sold with the very special original checkerboard case.

I bought this from ToneJunkee. He had three of the first 12 and this was the last one he sold. That should attest to the quality of this particular guitar. It plays and sounds amazing.

I am selling this great guitar because it isn’t getting played enough by me. It is too good of a guitar to spend any time in the case. I owned a red and a TV. Damn close to the real thing. If thats a real 50s bridge, this price is wayyyy too low. Those go $$$ and make a huge difference in the tone.

That wraparound is off of one of my 59 Juniors. That guitar also has prototype Tone Pros locking studs.

That is too little for that guitar. Wanna trade it to me towards anything in my shop?

You can try me with anything. A Mirage, a Monaco or anything with P90's. Korina is always good. I like fat necks. I would also look at Fender type amps; vintage or new. Botique amps like Victoria, Car, Clarke, and Dr. Z would be good.

Ooh, I don't think I could give up my Mirage. My dad bought me that thing when I was 16, brand new in 1994. It was my first Hamer. And my wife bought me my Artist Korina. Plus I got the cavity cover signed by Jol last year. Let me tell you what, I'll send you a pm.
