gatorbyte007 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Looks good. Seller must learn how to use spellcheck.

veatch Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Shi-gawk!No shipping, though.Anyone in here in the Portland area wanna take a look at this one?
atquinn Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I'm fairly certain this is the one that was for sale last week for ~1200. I assume this guy bought it and is making up a story to flip it (although I don't see why a story would be necessary)?-Austin

That's the one I was trying to toss my hat into the ring on and never got a reply back. Apparantly he got enough offers to make him realize what he had

If he really wants some money, he should sell it on eBay. I'm positive he'd get more than 2k. - Austin
gatorbyte007 Posted February 22, 2010 Author Posted February 22, 2010 If he would ship it, he would of had a quick $2000.00
Doink Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I'm quite certain that this was the same one listed last week for $800. I wrote the guy within an hour of his post, and I never heard back. So it's either the same guy who did some research or had someone tip him off, or someone is flipping it. Though most flippers will ship and know where to list their shit. Also, the seller apparently doesn't know how to set up a Floyd. Look at that pull up in the pic the of trem and the whacked intonation!
cmatthes Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I don't care what is for sale, if the seller has less of a grasp of his native tongue (here, English) than Koko the Gorilla, than I'm not even remotely interested.Seller is a total dumbass.Goodbye Koko...
DarrenD Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Yep. Definitely the same seller from last week, where he was selling it for $800. I, too, sent an email with no reply. The buyer doesn't seem like the brightest of the bunch, so I'm always hesitant in these cases. He won't get $2000 for it locally though unless there is a huge hamer fan close by.
HamStd Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Not related to the seller of the guitar in Portland, but as an aside, if any of you SetNeck cali fans are interested in this one, drop me a line-Hamstd@gmail.com. Less than the one currently on ebay, no issues, original finish and no crazy history. thanks Peter
cmatthes Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Are there even any bids on the eBay one at that price? That's a great Cali, and Peter is definitely great to deal with. We've done a bit of business over the years, and his stuff is always well cared for and packed to survive both UPS AND FedEx!
veatch Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I just peed my pants a little.+1 And my wallet just sent out a distress call...
edgar_allan_poe Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Pete is good people...and he does laundry like no other.
Jason01 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Feynman you better jump on that one. You're not likely to see another anytime soon, especially from a trusted seller.
Kilroy is all about... Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 moving along people. There is nothing left to see here kilroy cherry picks again. My annual peter fung purchase plan is good for 2010. got it done early!
