This looks like one of Matt's FBB basses... If it is, it's a great hand-made bass... Gratz!!! (and let me know when you want to sell it...LOL)

Finally got the family to sit down for a photo:

2014-05family.jpg

Clockwise from top left-

Dingwall AB-I 5 string. I've known Sheldon (Saskatoon, Canada) since before he released his basses on the world. In fact, he was the guy that threw the J-pup into my Yamaha. Always wanted one of his basses. Now I want at least one more.

Kinal MK21 (~2005). Mike KInal is a kickass luthier in Vancouver, Canada. I traded a really nice Spector 5 for this and I got the better end of the deal. This is my #1.

F-Bass BNF5 George Furlanetto (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) also makes kickass basses. Wish I could afford a couple more of his.

200x Fender Hwy1 Jazz body / Warmoth fretless P neck Assembled by me and recently set up at The Repair Zone (San Diego). Fred does great work.

1995 Fender MIM Precision Bass Quintessential midrange honk outa this one.

2008 Fender MIA Jazz Bass Every so often GC will have an instrument that actually plays well. This was one of them. Bought and sold and bought it back!

1980 Yamaha BB1200 I bought this new! This was my #1 for 25 years (until I migrated to 5's). I have instructions from rocktuna to never sell this bass.

Shark....where'd the black binding on the red one come from?

Is that the striped on that was near me a few weeks back on CL ?

I am soooooo jealous of Shark's collection

Yeah me too!

Especially the white FB8.

My main gigging bass when I was still playing bass. Damn-that was 9 years ago in a band I just quit last week!

My live bass for 3 years was an Ibanez Roadster Series-- looked like double buckers. Smooth dark purple. The best d.i. signal in the store, and i was willing and ready to pay triple. There was a very nice Spector, but the Ibanez played, and sounded a hair better.
