Ting Ho Dung Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 So my wife was surfin' Tommy Shaw over the weekend and working herself all up in a dither. When something hit the floor from under her keyboard (not sure what it was but it was making a hell of a racket on the hardwood floors) and I had to grab the mouse to keep it from falling too. I clicked this video before she could gain control again. She about turned it but his voice stopped her. Then she became enamored with how well spoken he is for an Alabama boy. I became enamored with how well he knew his guitars. He could tell you when they were refretted and with what wire. What pickups are in each guitar. Curious anecdotes about each. I thought it was cool so I thought one of you maybe would too. ETA: Forgot to ask, Is that our own Willie G. Moseley conducting the interview? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXjx10JFAVM
Ting Ho Dung Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 This happened to me the other day as well. I think it's font related. Or I can blame it on the Wife.
Feynman Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I like heavy guitars too. He seems cool, and down to earth. I always enjoy seeing Boss pedals and maligned gear being used by huge names on world tours. -

Willie G. Moseley Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Although I do want to be in show business when I grow up, that wasn't me that asked questions; it was conducted in the hometown of the magazine. Over the decades I've done several print interviews w/ TS (and he and I hail from the same Deep South hometown).

But, is this a new one. Head looks different. And last time I looked at this, I didn’t notice “gearpage digest” I’m going to have to subscribe.
MCChris Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 The face is EVH's from his "homeless guy" appearance at NAMM several years ago.
mc2 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Looks like Steven Segal when he showed up at the Fender after show NAMM party one year and jammed with the Ventures and other Fender endorsers. He was waaaaaaay lost.
Biz Prof Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 The original: At some point, this mock cover should be enshrined in the Smithsonian. I wonder how many admirers actually notice the "price" of "$99.00"? (It took me a few views before I noticed)
