cynic Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 In no position to buy, but are you referring to Juicy Lucy? - Austin Juicy Lucy is an Impact
gatorbyte007 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Thanks go out to Mike for answering all my questions. I knew it was not the impact guitar. That Guitar is in the hands of the Hard Rock. But I was hoping it was some sort of custom Cali. Just a regular off the shelf black Cali with no name on headstock. Mike said he did have pics of her with guitar but I passed. Thanks Again Mike!!!
cynic Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 The thing with "celebrity" guitars....with very few exceptions, the second they're sold, they're no longer looked at as celebrity guitars.
tobereeno Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I can't believe I've never seen this before. My wildest, hottest fantasy since like forever has been for a Californian neck with a Virt headstock. And there it is. Sexier than any woman.
Ting Ho Dung Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Back home. The Cali is a black body with what look like OBL's. Maple bolt on with Ebony and Boomers. Serial # begins with '02. The guy who is selling it is friends with Lita and has pics on his phone with her and the guitar. Unfortunately we are both luddites and it was like watching two monkeys trying to fuck a football when we were trying to text the pics to my phone. So I don't have those. I did take one pic of the guitar but I'm not interested in resizing and loading up the file of just a black Cali unless someone is really interested. It's signed in gold below the FR. Just thought I'd pass it along. I have no clue and have never seen what any Cali sells for. So I don't know if the asking price, $1800, is good or not. I can tell you I played it and it does nearly play as well as my Heritage's. Seriously, it played like one of those guitars that just feel like someone took care when they built it. It really felt good in the hand. Diablo, You could buy it and have it repainted. ETA: Stadium logo
tobereeno Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Tobe, you have never seen this? not until today. But I've seen it AT LEAST 10 times now!!!!
BTMN Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I'm pretty sure she would still have Juicy Lucy. Seems she has kept S&P all these years when I heard rumor way back that some AOL exec owned one of them.Maybe someday Lita will have her guitars photographed. Love to see a few artists do that with their top 20 guitars.
Ting Ho Dung Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 ^^^Gene is the Man who has some Budapest for all of us. I love me some Gene.
diablo175 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Tobe, you have never seen this? For a brief minute there I swore she was singing, "I'm so hungry for your dick..."
Studio Custom Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Tobe, you have never seen this? For a brief minute there I swore she was singing, "I'm so hungry for your dick..." There's some wishful thinking.

The Shark Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I played the guitar. Thorn made me! It's a run of the mill bolt-on Californian with Lita's sig. If we're being honest, the guy's tagging eight hundred to Lita's autograph and his story.
BTMN Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 In no position to buy, but are you referring to Juicy Lucy? - Austin Juicy Lucy is an Impact DOH!!!!
diablo175 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 For a brief minute there I swore she was singing, "I'm so hungry for your dick..." There's some wishful thinking. And...?

If we're being honest, the guy's tagging eight hundred to Lita's autograph and his story. Ah... I had no idea what they sold for. I don't know if it has $800 worth of mojo. Like everything else I saw, $1800 is probably just the starting point. I would imagine it would be a cut above the rest. Did Hamer allow the Artists to pick the best of the best? So if we leave Lita out of it, what would the best of the best playing Cali's sell for used? It wasn't beat up at all. I'm glad I made you play it. lol.
cmatthes Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 That pricing isn't unrealistic - a bit high if just a black Cali Elite, but not out of the realm of sanity. If it was a dot board (Cali Standard), than I'll assume he'll be keeping it forever at that price.
mc2 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Tobe, you have never seen this? That video HAD to be the low point in her career. Awful, song. Embarrassing video. ...and a sax solo. Hope she stabbed her manager after that one.
BTMN Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I don't know, she still plays it live. On Pepper even....
