From the pics it sure does look to be NEW...............................and Dave I must respectfully disagree, I think the black looks very classy on the this guitar.............but then you would expect me to say that. Used to say it was a set of P-90s away from being pretty much the perfect S/H. I shudder to think how much I'd enjoy that one in my little stable. I'm ducking out of this one and FAST for my wallet's sake lol

Similarly to Jeff R's assessment above, I have a 25th Anniversary that I like VERY much, and wanted to try to find that sort of thing with P90s. Actually, this is a step back for me - I was pursuing an option that would have been GLORIOUS, but at quite a bit more money. I'm looking at some increased short-term expenditures with the potential for a long-term lifestyle change (i.e., new girlfriend) and figured that I had better economize a bit where I can, for now. Glorious can come later.
