I know, long shot. Anyone here holding? I had one in the past and stupidly let it go. Missing it lately. I have cool trade bait and/or cash.

Oooh, that's like wishing for a Redwood Studio on my end. But, you never know. Sometimes a simple ask is all it takes. Wish you well on your search.

Don't I know it! But it's certainly a worthy quest.

Beautiful guitars for sure!........................good luck! This one sold quite a while back for $3,500.00. No idea what it would cost to get one these days as all Hamer guitar prices seem to be on the rise. I played one a long time ago at Dave's Guitar and it had a pretty beefy neck.  MRwdLvd.jpg

The forum really needs a "holy f**k" like emoji.  The "heart" really doesn't cut it here.

Yeah I saw that. The beefy neck is what draws me to this model.

I have no idea what a fair price would be now. But if anyone is willing, I'm open to have that discussion. I think most members who have dealt with me in the past have found me fair and pretty easy to work with. It wouldn't be the first time I've paid quite a bit more to reacquire something I stupidly sold in the past.

I have found that those who have the patience to wait.....................and of course the $$$$ to buy shall receive. Good Luck! I hope you get it, the last guitar I bought I first saw back in 2010 and it was NFS. Fast forward to 2019, I finally got it. I hope your wait is not that long.

I bought this one brand new from Music Machine. Beautiful guitar! I’m pretty sure Badger Dave had it and sold it within the last couple of years.

It was sold by Amp'D Guitars in Katy Texas about 2 years ago.  Do you recall what it cost when it was new?  Beautiful one for sure.

I was doing a search on this of previous owners when I got it and kinda suspected you were the original owner, but all older postings from other sites had the pics deleted.  The beefy neck is what put me on course for other purchases with similar profile. So now for me, FAT IS WHERE IT'S AT.

That was, IIRC, the catalog model.

I sold it in late 2020 when I liquidated most of my guitars as part of an employment related move to Florida.  It sold for a few hundred more than $3,500.  That was just before the Covid spike. My guess is that today, it would sell for somewhere between $4,500 - $6,000 provided it's still in near mint condition.  It was the best looking of the 4 Triple Threats I've owned.

Four of them?!  Amazing.  Is that the record?

When I was in BCR Music (circa 2008 I believe) Greg showed me a triple threat that just arrived for a customer.   It was a BCR Junior, a Standard, and a Vector.

All had the identical Ultimate tops (I'll assume from the same block of maple), and they were all Purple!

He just opened the cases and I was shocked at the sight.  I never saw anything like that before.

And Yes, it was ordered by an HFC member.

I remember those. They were stunning

Trips to BCR music were always rewarded with stuff like that

For me, it was a long drive, but Always worth it.  The coffee was always waiting at the front door (Black Coffee Rules....get it?)

Every visit was a fun experience.

When I finally ordered the 12 string Standard Bass, it was a many-hours-long ritual of options choosing, and a call to the Hamer factory about the details on the order.

That was quite the memorable 3some. And a few years later, Greg ended up re-selling them to Walter Becker. They were in the giant auction of all his stuff, I assume they went their separate ways at that point to parts unknown.

I remember the Standard and the Vector.  I don't remember the selling price of the Standard, but the Vector went for $3840.

Oh Yes!

I found the auction listing which I included below.  The description for the Standard says P90 pickups, but those sure look like humbuckers to me.

I let one slip away bout 5 years ago, crazy beautiful, and with the bigger than “big” neck, it had a unique personality. And sound. —-regrets
