  2. That's hilarious! The same pups my 91 LP Studio Lite had with the same weight relief, just tuxedo'd instead of Studio'd. Only an extra $5100 for the Custom looks and long scale. What a bargain! Wait... What?! That POS will never be missed! Now they spec that in CS guitars, talk about it like it's desirable, and know dumbass collectors with FOMO will keep them in business... Do yourself a favor and buy a couple nice Hamers instead. This is an early 90s entry-level spec Lester in a tux and fancier case. Not the artistry of a Super Pro.
  3. Your Tolex guy is the equal to you with a spray gun! Wow!
  4. Today
  5. Didn't check because I don't care. I won't be getting one no matter what they cost. My praise was strictly aesthetically-based.
  6. Except the price.
  7. Hamer USA Sunburst Archtop. Got it from the factory when I have a B endorsement with these guys. I am the only owner of this great playing and sounding guitar. Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a 59 in the neck from the factory. Asking for $2300 includes shipping and PayPal fees.

  8. Suhr SL-15 for now but the Ceriatone JCM-52 chassis will fit if I change my mind.
  9. Ain't nothin' wrong with that.
  10. That 2x12 cab is going to sound massive with those side ports. Is the Ceriatone going in the head shell?
  11. I recently ordered a couple custom cabs from TRM ( http://www.trmguitarcabs.com/index.html ) and promptly upon arrival dropped them off with a friend that is very good at applying tolex. Just got the completed pics and will be picking them up asap. I will be rehoming my Suhr SL-15 into the head cab. Speakers still TBD, vertical 2x12 btw. Will probably swap a few different ones in for evaluation. Wish I could play as fast as these look.
  12. It's kind of their thing now. Maybe Fender will sue them. 🤣
  13. I just saw this and it's funny, I expected to click and see the sale extended etc. but no. So few places DON'T do that it actually surprised me.
  14. But still, they'e been feeding the AI for years themselves. Why wouldn't they think it would be used to churn out videos at some point? YT doesn't care about anything but the advertising and that revenue. And as most of these guys Like RB and RS like to say about the old school musicians, things are changing and you have to adapt. They patted themselves on the back for doing YT, and then hung their hats on that. Well, now it's their turn to adapt to a changing landscape.
  15. I just heard that Brent is planning to contribute his version of Star Spangled Banner.
  16. Dang! Missed this post and am in the market for one. Anyone looking to flip, or trade for microblock and pedals, Lmk!
  17. Sometimes side effects become the point; what became Viagra was initially tested to lower women’s blood pressure, seriously. In the primary testing the control portion of men experienced the side effect it’s known for and it was refocused, rebranded and marketed. Diphenhydramine Hydrocloride is another of my favorite examples; it’s used for radically different OTC meds depending on packaging: it’s the ONLY active ingredient in Benadryl (Allergy medicine), Dramamine (motion sickness), and ZzzQuil (Sleep Aid). Do with this neurospicy info what thou wilt. 🤷🏼‍♂️😂 I will say from experience that 5-hour energy shots are awful for playing. Idk if it’s the overdose of B vitamins, or the megadose of caffeine, or the combo, but it cramped my hand and arm muscles to a near palsy at a theater show once, and never again for me. And I love both caffeine and dehydration!
  18. YT pays them to make content so YT can sell commercials such as the ever present yet ever annoying Liberty Biberty Mutual ones. That's here and now, but have no doubt theyve been sucking down content of all types to train AI. Ricky B. has a compelling argument for how more relaxed Copyright exercise actually benefits the artists, but its their prerrogative. Those bands dont have promoters anymore tho, just lawyers. If there was a razor edge trigger to shut down most of your revenue, you'd be moaning too.
  19. Hamers shipped with .009s back then.
  20. I played one and really liked it - was tempted, but never pulled the trigger at $2,499. It was a different time…
