  2. No one seems to be talking about scale length; Tension is lower and bending is easier on shorter scale. Hamers are 24 3/4” scale (Gibson scale, like LPs and SGs), strats and teles are 25.5” (Fender scale). Interestingly PRS are designed to be in the middle at 25”. You May like 9s on your fenders and 10s on your Hamers and Lps. For my working strats and teles I got conversion necks so they’re 24 3/4” too and I generally use DAddario 10s on everything. ETA: my comments were to generally address fretting hand issues, and the OP mentioned picking hand issues; relax your grip on the pick and practice the basic motion of picking the string, and try to avoid tensing up as you jam out. Ymmv Good Luck!
  3. My description of them is "dinner music for people who do not know what they are eating."
  4. They are something but what exactly that is I haven't quite figured out yet.
  5. I striking resemblance I must say.
  6. Speaking of interesting….anyone see the “cracked egg” Steve Stevens on Reverb?
  7. It would have been nice if the seller offered it whole guitar or just the Neck and Body to the club. Anyway. I hope someone here got them.
  8. Does anyone have a USA Cali neck for sale?
  9. Yesterday
  10. The body and neck sold yesterday on Reverb...
  11. Where is the body for sale at please?
  12. Rabbit Hole has been found! I know because I have found many just like it. Have fun!
  13. It showed up today. I played many of the presets through headphones. I have no doubt I will get my $55 worth. 🥳 The controls are simple but were not intuitive to bry4321. It didn't come with a manual or quick start guide, so when I got stuck I watched a minute of a YouTube "how to" video on my phone. Again, simple once I knew which buttons did what. Eventually I looked at the online manual on their website (!). Haven't tried the other features yet. I downloaded the app but haven't tried that either. OK, candidate for worst review ever BUT I will say the built-in tuner is easy to use and I used it to help intonate my guitar a bit. Now I am contemplating this Pocket Control thing:
  14. No artists like this around today. Pure talent. Pure freedom. Pure musicality.
  15. Over the past couple of years I've slowly gone to 9s in standard tuning and 10s when a half step down. Bigger necks have helped a lot but it meant giving up my favorite '81 Special (I just didn't use it anymore). My #1 LP is the exception (slim taper) but it's such a heavy pig it sees less action now, too. The Shishkov and Jr. (fat necks/light weights) have become the go-tos. For your pains, try magnesium glycinate. My back loves it, as does my left forearm. Of course, check with your doctor before blahblahblahblahblah.......
  16. Wow... Chills 🤘🥶🤘
  17. Platypus sounds like an influence on The Dixie Dregs.
  18. I found 2 shows that i i dl'd earlier this week. listened to one of them in the car yesterday. i certainly like it. And i love that Platypus disc...
