Is that a factory refin? (Wasn't that AnDy StEiN's from 1999 or so, iirc?) Any shots of the serial number?

Up until a few years ago I had a Neon Yellow SS-1, w/matching reverse headstock, ebony board w/LED inlays, built-in wireless unit and artist headstock personalization. It was in an ad and catalog from the late 80s - not the most unique Hamer, but sure is a cool guitar! It is currently living with another HFC'er.

Yeah - I thought that was about triple where it should be, but knew you dug that one!

Now that just looks perfect! The whole idea of a NOS guitar, basically built to your specs a couple decades after it left the factory is really freakin' cool.

I believe we'll be seeing another one of these stories before too long...

This IS Hamer's version of a Jazzbox. Mike S. has definitely made some fine archtops...those guys up there are insanely talented.

What does a mod like that run?
