KISS ALIVE! definetly kicked their 1st 3 albums' renditions of the same songs in the ass. I love those albums, but the ALIVE! version of them smokes. Yeah, I know they got doctored up in the studio, but most ALL live albums do.

I got a couple of cool items. #1 ... My wife and I were at the local mall, a few months ago. It was one of those weekends when people can rent space in the walkways and sell their stuff. This dude was selling movie posters. I got the bright idea, to redecorate our family room downstairs, with a HD big screen, and using some movie posters, to create a kind of movie theme room. So my wife picked me up a nice framed Star Wars movie poster, as a start, for a present. Now I just need to repaint the room, aquire about 6 or 7 more movie posters, and come up with $2500 for the HDTV. Yeah, right. I guess we have to start some where. #2 ... Tonight one of my wife's closest friends dropped by with a present. She works at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, in Chris Collingsworth's MRI business there. She routinely runs MRIs on the Cincinnati Bengals. So she dropped off an autographed football with Carson Palmer, TJ "Who's Yo Momma" Houshmandzadeh, Kelly Washington, Super Bowl XXXVII MVP Dexter Jackson, and about 5 or 6 others autographs. She's gonna try to score Chad Johnson and Rudy Johnson, if they make the playoffs. They'll be into the MRI unit in the post season, if they make it that far. The thing is she hasn't even got a ball for herself. And she's a big Bengals fan. She gave us one of a couple she got. Very sweet of her. I owe her a big one in return. Oh yeah ... I got rock also ... last night.

I just forwarded the link to a dude I used to work with. Me and him used to always throw those classic lines: "Hey man, is that Freedom Rock? Yeah man! Well turn it up man!" whenever we would be listening to the classic rock station, over the company intercom. He'll get a gignatic laugh when he sees it. KILLAH!

Beginning to wonder that myself. BlackMagic's Dean EVO guitar thread got moved also. Does that not qualify as music related? I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple of guitar manufacturer threads with other than Hamers as the subject matter. (EX ... the latest Gibson bashing thread ... oops, that's half of the threads anyway ... HAHAHA!) What "bird-dogged" the Dean thread for relocation? It's not a big deal to me ... just curious, since PF asked the question.

I think I'd be way beyond star-struck (not Wyldbil ) if I were to get to meet Paul. I don't care if he does stage rap with a lisp. LOL

I need some opinions. I've got my eye on a guitar with a Floyd Rose. I own a MIM Strat with a Floyd, and ain't that impressed with the sound. Although I realize it's a bit of a step down from my Hamer and LP Historic ... it may be the pots, pups, my crappy playing, etc. I believe a better tone comes from having more surface contact with the stop tail pieces, sustain-blocks, hard-tail, than on Floyd guitars. OR Am I full of horse hockey? Anyhoo, folks with Floyd equipped guitars, could ya chime in here, and let me know what you think of Floyd Rose equipped vs. non-vibrato guitars ... tone wise that is.

I voted hair. I was one of those guys who started loosing theirs at 21 years old. By the time I got to around 30, it had become a pitiful sight. I wore a hat ALL the time. A few years ago I began to cut it right down to the nubbins. A couple of months ago I started shaving it ... Ko-effin-Jack style. I gotta say, I'm kinda liking it. Yes I miss my long blonde hair of my younger days, but this beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. I ain't fat ... yet. I'm 6' tall and 190lbs. And it ain't all muscle. The ole spare tire seem to be creeping up on me, a little at a time. Gonna have to watch it. The creaky thing is hitting me also. When I get outta bed, I feel like the Tin Man ... need a shot of lube. Once I start to move everything, it gets better.

Gonna have to fire up my "Defenders Of The Faith" MP3 rip, in honor of this fine specimen. Great looking KKV.
