  1. Keep your Fenders if you like them. Selling them off will do nothing to FMIC. 4 more used instruments on the market will not hurt that company. You will never get Fender out of the public eye, either.
  2. Will it be just your signature or a whole set?
  3. Every interest comes and goes with some staying at the forefront more often than others. Song ideas pop into my head enough to have something to work with, but without a band the ideas go nowhere. Projects away from music get started and finished when they feel right. The creation of objects with leathercraft has been a matter of having to finish out an idea before it gets away. Dry spells may not be "dry." Your motivation to focus on songwriting might just not be as high at one point as it is another. Unless you are a professional songwriter do not worry about it.
  4. That would be a perfect body for someone doing the volume knob swells all the time in a solo. Think about the intro to Pat Travers' I La La La Love You. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0e9vLi1ACQ
  5. Look at the HFC 2 page and you will see this photo: That was 1999.
  6. An Improv or prototype was on display in 1998 or 1999 at one of the HFC events.
  7. For the thousandth time let me add that my 1982 Dean ML had one of the best feeling necks ever, but that neck would move/waiver when I turned or moved. As good as it sounded, that guitar had to be played standing dead still. It would be nice to have it back, but then it would be sold again for the same reason.
  8. Get the real deal original run guitars. It would be nice to have another one.
  9. I am still holding off on purchasing a book until I know the best way to get it signed by everyone.
  10. The trend among the knife companies is to use a similar green to the paint on your in-progress guitar and label everything as "zombie killer."
  11. Will there be an accompanying zombie killer green handled machete and pocket knife set with that axe?
  12. You could also become Stanley Clarke or Jeff Berlin.
  13. Just make bootlegs... called Jackasshammers.
  14. The same thing happens when an artist dies. People try to cash in on the death. "He will never paint another masterpiece again!" Quite often, the artist quit painting masterpieces 20 years earlier when he was 70. Bob Benedetto makes violins now. If you want one of his archtops you have to find one that was made years ago.
  15. Made it in near the end of the show today.
  16. The Cruise with the red pickguard interests me the most. Instead of wanting to sell mine, I want to buy more.
  17. Official Uriah Heep Announcement
  18. Oh, man. Two years ago ZR and I saw Uriah Heep in Atlanta and it was a great show. Trevor Bolder was an incredible player.
  19. The player changed. It took a minute or two to figure it out.
  20. The site loads slow the first time in Internet Explorer. Firefox may be a little better. The problem is random.
  21. Want. No dough. I even want the purple one we had back. No money.
