  1. I like mine with Hambuckers. and when I'm not scarfing 'burgers, I like a grilled cheese.
  2. Sounds solid, I'd buy it. @hamerhead as good as he sings, I say let him keep the peach fuzz... He'll figure it out! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  3. Probably my favorite (later) BS songs/videos
  4. I saw Boston back in the 2000's, and a ways into the show Brad started dialoging the audience. He introduced the guy backstage that was hitting the high notes for him and "saving my ass out here every night!". I thought that was cool. I watched a BTTB 'War Pigs' video the day after the event, and it was definitely NOT corrected. Later, in 'Crazy Train', he was sounding a lot better.
  5. We all knew it was coming, but it's still a bit of a surprise coming so soon after the BTTB gig. Ironically, I was listening to 'Never Say Die' this morning.
  6. Welcome, and so begins the addiction. All you will find here are tempters and enablers. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  7. Because he deserves it.
  8. @Steve Haynie Haynie Stoic
  9. @RobB Didn't sound "ham-fisted" at all, to me. Actually, the clarity of the notes and chords sounded pretty dang precise.
  10. That's exactly what I was thinking! There a couple of quick frames where I thought to myself, "did they put Zakk up there too?". ๐Ÿ˜€ It was good to see Glenn involved, but he's looking pretty frail.
  11. No, but I get why he did it. Or at least what he was trying to accomplish.
  12. Man, that is F'ing sweet!
  13. The ONLY thing uncool about that video is Tom Hamilton's camel toe.
  14. Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. Kind of like a buddy that had a hot rodded 1959 panhead... He then went super crazy on the motor, 103" (which is HUGE on a pan), and started talking frame mods. I tried to get him to sell me the frame and buy an aftermarket, but he was bent on using the original frame. One mod led to another, and a year later the only thing left of the original was the seat post tube with the rear motor mount. All I could do was to shake my head. Tsk tsk.
  15. Happy birthday Rechts!
  16. Guilty! ๐Ÿ˜‚ The early times *were* great! This news saddens me greatly. "Deserved" or not, I hated it when he was put on exile. I always looked forward to Jay's posts, sometimes they would be the highlight of my day... If he happened to like or quote one of my posts, I felt like I had accomplished something. ๐Ÿ™‚ Is anyone in contact with Turdus? He's probably aware, he and Ed (Jay) I think were/are pretty tight. Ed/Jay, if you see this, Godspeed brother. Just know that you were the source of MANY laughs and screen-cleanings! Prayers are with you.
  17. To me, exceptions @django49 excluded, korina tends to have a bit more in the upper mids. My most resonant guitars are korina. And, I like the way that it looks.
  18. If I could only own guitars made of one type of wood, that wood would definitely and unequivocally be Korina.
  19. It'll be great. Go ahead and buy a new truck and guitar collection. ETA: This won't be funny without the context... Years ago during an employee mtg, the Q&A comes up. This was during a fairly bleak period of business, but with the announcement of some good prospects. A guy asks the plant mgr "So can I go buy a new truck?". The boss says "yeah, go buy yourself that new truck!". Four months later they announced layoffs. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  20. It's a Duncan SH-6 that MJ wound.
  21. @Crywolf I'd love to see a pic of that korina Eclipse! I've got one as well (only one I've seen). I asked Kim Keller about it quite a while back, and he said it was part of a run that Bill Kaman had instigated... He said he thought there were only 10 or 12 made. Mine got hacked by a previous owner who thought it would be better with a P90 in the neck. At least they did a clean route job, but it can never be original again.
  22. @Steve Haynie scoffs at you... HA! Only four hours? Ha!
