While these products work well, most have silicone in them, and if they do, they can make any finish repairs to nitro down the road hard.

So far, digital sounds digital to me, although I must confess I have not stepped up and dropped the big bucks on an Axe FX, but for my needs, a nice warm, responsive organic tube amp fits the bill perfectly.

Thanks Man. I obviously had a vision going in, which originally included a parchment pickguard, and the wise folks here on the forum helped me see the light and avoid that unnecessary piece of plastic on this beauty. I've also always liked the small oval ivoroid tuners and have used TonePro Klusons on other guitars, so I knew the quality would be up to snuff. UPS shows it arriving by the end of Friday. With the weather here, it will be Saturday before I finish opening the case. I'm getting antsy just thinking about it.
